The Lycan King's Fate Calling novel Chapter 1043

Crystal's POV:

I was in utter shock. I couldn't believe it that Ian would run away from home. That was so unexpected. Would such a good wolf really be that rebellious?

"When did it happen?" I asked anxiously.

Sighing, the elder replied, "He has been missing since after the day you left the pack. At first, we assumed that wild wolves has always been completely free. In the past, Ian would often disappear and go to the forest to play for a few days before coming back, so we didn't pay much attention at first. It was not until such a long time had passed that everyone began to worry. We went to the forest to look for him, but found not even a single sign of him. When we checked the surveillance footage, we found that Ian had already left our territory. He deliberately avoided the surveillance cameras and passed through their blind spots before completely disappearing."

Hearing that, I gasped in shock. Knowing Ian, he would definitely not leave the pack for no reason, unless something happened. Was he chasing Beryl and Arron?

At the thought of that now, I believed it was actually possible. Beryl and Ian were childhood friends. Wherever Beryl would go, Ian would always be there, tailing her. They were rarely apart.

Nonetheless, I sensed that something wasn't right. If Ian really was chasing Beryl and Arron, he wouldn't have waited and left the following day. He would chase after them right away.

"You search the surrounding areas of the pack and look for him. If you still can't track him down, try taking the route to the capital city." I ordered more people to look for Ian, but the elder was a little hesitant. He was worried because of Blair's presence in the pack, so he didn't dare to leave easily.

"Don't mind him. He'll stay in the pack while I am away. You can just go and find Ian." After thinking for a while, I asked the elder to give Blair my private number.

When the elder heard that I was willing to give Blair that, he breathed a sigh of relief and finally agreed to send more people to look for Ian.

Not long after I hung up the phone, Blair called me, still in a familiar voice and tone.

"I was afraid you'd keep pretending as if you don't me," Blair mocked me from the other end of the line.
