I was furious and summoned my confidant inside.

When he saw the empty bed, he was also baffled. "Where is Arron?"

"I should be asking you that question. Where is my son?" I glowered at him. My blood boiled with rage. "How can this be possible? I witnessed Arron falling asleep with my own eyes, and no one else has come here in the intervening period." The man couldn't believe it, and then he panicked. "This room only has one entrance.
