When Lord Wade invited Chandler back from abroad, h e had arranged for him to live in the Wade family mansion, even providing him with the best hospitality they could offer, s
However, after Mount Wintry had been built, Chandler insisted on moving out of the Wade family mansion and living there. 3
Lord Wade was reluctant to let Chandler live in the Wade family's ancestral tomb even though it was very well built with living quarters for the staff to work and live. Lord Wade felt that he could not let such an old man as Chandler live there.
Even though Lord Wade had tried to stop Chandler, Chandler still insisted on moving over.
The main reason was that he had been waiting for his precious opportunity, for the exit gate in his fortunetelling, to open. He had been waiting for Charlie to appear and give him the Rejuvenating Pill that could prolong his life for ten years. 7
Now that the opportunity he had been waiting for for four years had come, it was time to go.
So, he said to the head of security, "Please convey to Lord Wade that I have completed what I promised him and that I've been away from home for too long. I’m homesick, and so, I have to leave without bidding
farewell to him. I wish that we can meet again in the future!"
He bowed at the crowd, and when he turned to look at Charlie, he paused for a moment, his eyes full of gratitude.
Then, he turned around, tilted his head, laughed out loud, and shouted, "I can finally go back triumphantly!”
With that, he stepped out and walked away proudly.
Yule couldn’t help exclaiming, "Wow, a hundred-year-old man can look so youthful and energetic. It's extraordinary!"
