The Man in Power After Being Married into Her Family novel Chapter 1865

Upon hearing Charlie’s question, Isaac was puzzled too. "Master Wade, to be honest with you, I don’t really know much about your aunt. In fact, with my status, it’s difficult for me to have any direct contacts with the Wade family. Stephen has more contacts with them. Maybe you may want to give him a call?" 7

Charlie shook his hand, then said calmly, "Forget about it, it’s pointless to call him. There's always a solution to a problem. I'll act accordingly when I see her." 2

Isaac then asked, "So, are you having a meal with your aunt tomorrow?”

Charlie nodded his head, "I'm going. Let me know when she’s fixed the time. You don't have to send me there, I'll go there by myself." 6

"Noted!”

Charlie thought of his aunt's younger self. In his impression, his aunt was a rather mean woman. When he was five, his aunt married the master of an elite family from Eastcliff and she had given birth to a son. Since then, Charlie had no further updates about his aunt. 5

Charlie asked Isaac, "Isaac, what’s the status of my aunt in the Wade family? Supposedly she no longer can take part in any of our family's affairs since she’s

married?"

Isaac answered honestly, "Master Wade, your aunt has separated from her husband a long time ago. Ever since her separation, she had moved back to the Wade family." 1

Charlie frowned, then asked, "Why were both of them separated? What happened?"

Isaac chuckled, then said, "It's inappropriate for someone of my status to say something like this. Nonetheless, since you have asked me, Master Wade, then I'll then make known to you..." 1

Isaac then paused for a moment, he explained, "Your aunt was married to the Scotson family, Although the Scotson family was not as prestigious as the Wade family, but it was still considered one of the esteemed families in Eastcliff. Their overall performance was considered quite satisfactory. However, six or seven years ago, the Scotson family had invested heavily in the making of the steel industry and they had even started a company group business. Unfortunately, the business collapsed and the Scotson family suffered tremendous losses. Their fortune had halved then." 4
