When Charlie left, Claire was still soaking in the hot springs.
She didn't even know that her husband, who had excused himself to grab a drink and left the hot springs in a bathrobe, had, in fact, sat in a helicopter, flown straight to the airport, and then boarded an airplane that was bound for Tokyo. 2
She had been waiting patiently for Charlie. When she came out of the hot springs and went to the lobby, she still failed to find Charlie's. She could not help but feel suspicious.
She made a call to Charlie, but it showed that his phone was switched off.
This made her even more worried. She went back to the bedroom and still saw no signs of Charlie.
However, she spied a piece of note left behind by Charlie on the cabinet.
On the note, a line stated, "Darling, a friend’s life is in danger. I need to rush over to rescue that person."
After reading the note, Claire felt alarmed and exclaimed, "Rescue?! The person must've met with a terrible incident?!" 2
Thinking of this, she quickly sent Charlie a voice message: "Darling, where'd you go? What happened? N 0 matter what, you must be safe!"

Japan, Tokyo.
The Ito's family ninjas sat in the helicopter. They had arrived near the mountain at Nishitama district in the shortest amount of time.
Then, the helicopter landed just a few kilometers away from the foothill. Ten ninjas in black streamed out and dashed toward the mountain.
The reason the helicopter was not allowed to fly directly into the mountain area was because Nanako feared that this would alert other people. 3
Her view was similar to Charlie’s-Jasmine had most likely been ambushed by someone. Let's say Jasmine did not die and Nanako were to blatantly allow the ninjas to use the helicopter to conduct a search and rescue. It might startle the opposite party, which would create more problems.
