Wayion nodded seriously before he said, "Miss Young, can you tell us if your father has any enemies or whether he is not on good terms with anyone? Besides that, is there anyone who has any form of a financial dispute with your father?"
Doris shook her head and said, "My father has always been a very conscientious person, and he has been teaching and educating people for so many years. He has also always been very willing to help others out at work. Therefore, he has never had any conflict with anyone."
Wayion asked again, "Then, did your father eat anything weird recently, or did he come into contact with anything strange?"
Doris continued to shake her head and said, "It seems as though that did not happen at all. Everything was normal before he fell ill..."
Wayion continued asking, "Do you usually live with your father?"
Doris nodded and said, "Yes. We live together."
Wayion asked again, "Who else is living with you besides you and your father?"
Doris said, "My father, my mother, and I. Only the three of us are living together."
"Okay." Wayion nodded and he paused for a moment before asking again, "Do you have any servants or maids working at your house?"
"No." Doris said, "I wanted to get a nanny for them, but my parents have always been highly intelligent professionals, so they are not used to others serving them. Also, they are only in their fifties now and can still take care of themselves. So, we do not have a nanny."
Wayion asked, "Then, are you or your mother experiencing any problems with your bodies?"
Doris shook her head and said, "No."
Wayion nodded and said, “Since your family of three are living together and since both you and your mother do not seem to be experiencing any problems, I can basically infer that your father was not poisoned by the food or water source in your house." 3
As he spoke, he asked again, "Miss Young, I need you t o try and recall carefully. Did your father go out for dinner alone or meet up with any of his friends during this time before your father showed any signs of illness in his body?"
Doris thought about it carefully before she said seriously, "No. Before my father started showing signs of illness, he had been reading at home because it was the winter vacation. He hardly went out, and so, he did not go out with anyone else.”
Wayion frowned as he said, "That is really strange, then. According to the test data, there is a large amount of mercury dichloride in your father's body. This kind of highly toxic substance can enter the body through the mouth and nose. It could also enter his body through his skin."
"However, our experts speculate that it would take a very long time for such a large amount of mercury dichloride to enter and accumulate in your father's body. So, the most likely entry is through the mouth and nose. Oral administration is the most likely way t o get such a large amount of mercury dichloride into the body."
"But as you have just mentioned, it is very unlikely that your father had gotten exposed to any contaminated food or water at home, but at the same time, he did not go out for a meal or drinks either...”
"If that is the case, it will be very tricky and difficult for us to try and figure out where he got poisoned, then!"
