Finley's perfect plans sent Homer into a world of excitement.
It sounded flawless, as if everything had been well thought out.
After the accident, The Palace Hotel belonging to Homer’s family won’t have to bear too much of the blame. Everything happened because of the mole, after all. As the saying goes, it was difficult to prevent a thief in one’s own home. Fisher would take the fall.
Thinking of this, Homer asked, "What about Fisher Charles's family?"
Finley curled his lips, his face sinister. " There’s no other way. We have to kill them all. I’ll get the ninjas to kidnap Fisher's family and pass them to my subordinate. After the incident, I’ll have the ninjas leave the United States and order my subordinates to kill Fisher's family. When the police find the corpses, they'll definitely think that it was the ninjas' doing. They'd believe the story I made up even more!"
Homer was rather startled. It took him a long while before he spoke. His voice was slow as he said, "You're...going to kill an entire family of five? Including all four kids?"
Finley shook his head, bending his index finger in a hook shape as he tutted. "To be exact, it's a family of nine. I had my people investigate deeper, and found out that there's more people in his family. He hired two live-in nannies for his kids, and his parents also happened to have just completed their immigration last month. H e brought them to New York to live with him. All of them add up to nine people."
Even Homer, who had committed quite a number of atrocities in his life, was horrified. He couldn't stop himself from screaming in shock, "You’re going to kill all nine of them?!"
"Of course!" Finley was firm. "None of them can be allowed to live. We won’t be able to continue with this lie otherwise. The society will be in an uproar when they're all dead, and everyone's hate will fall on the ninjas. They'll hate the ninjas for kidnapping Quinn Golding and for killing s o many innocents. No one will suspect you of anything!"
Homer clenched his teeth and nodded, having come to a decision. "Fine. Let’s do a s you say!"
He recalled something and asked, "What if the ninjas get investigated?"
"The police can investigate whatever they want to," Finley sneered. "I won't do a sloppy job. I'll send the ninjas away on a boat, and I'll make sure they all get buried a t the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean!"
Homer's doubts reared their ugly heads. " What if the police look for the ninjas' family? What, then?"
