Cato did not believe in the art of Feng Shui at all and so, he was not a fan of Charlie. However, he still smiled and said, "Okay, great! Master Wade, since you've said so, I will also give you chance to show me your skills, then."
Charlie could tell that Cato did not really like him and was simply saying a few words of courtesy just to go through the motions. Therefore, even if this guy truly wanted to invite Charlie to go and take a look at his Feng Shui, he would not give a d *mn at all.
The so-called social procedure was that the other party would also have to show some admiration even though they obviously did not look up to each other at all. They might be saying something when they meant something else and did not even want to contact the other party at all in the future.
So, Charlie simply said, "Sorry, Mr. Rows. I have a rather full schedule as of late, so if you really have any Feng Shui needs, I can recommend some other Feng Shui masters to you."
Cato did not expect that Charlie would simply speak so bluntly and directly and s o, he felt somewhat upset in his heart as he thought to himself, 'I'm just showing you respect out of politeness and you're taking i t so seriously? Do you really think that I would truly ask you to come over to take a look at my Feng Shui?!'
Nevertheless, Cato simply smiled and said, "It's okay. Let's wait for the next opportunity since you currently have no time, Master Wade.”
As Cato said this, he thought to himself,' This kid is probably a charlatan. I have to remember to take some time to remind Quinn not to fall for this kind of fraud.'
Homer smiled as he said, "The charity dinner will start in a moment. Why don’t w e go inside first? We have already prepared a VIP lounge for Miss Golding. Miss Golding, you can rest there for a while first and then make an appearance to surprise the other guests outside after the dinner starts."
As Homer said that, he then added, “By the way, aside from the three of us, the other two hundred guests do not know that Miss Golding is the mysterious guest of honor tonight. I believe that when Miss Golding makes her appearance, it will definitely cause a huge sensation."
Quinn had already known about this arrangement and so, she did not have a problem with it. She nodded gently and said politely, "Thank you for your hard work, Young Master Fox."
Homer laughed and said, "It’s what I should do."
Having said that, Homer hurriedly made an inviting gesture and said, "Miss Golding, this way, please!"
Quinn nodded, and an American bodyguard came forward and said to Quinn, "Miss Golding, we have already checked inside, and it is all safe. There is also security personnel arranged by Young Master Fox inside, so we will not send too many people in. I plan to let six team members go in with you, and the rest will b e on standby at the front and back doors.”
