The Man in Power After Being Married into Her Family novel Chapter 4234

Quinn arrived at Charlie's villa by car. After picking Charlie up at the gate, the convoy drove to the nearby Fox family manor.

When the convoy arrived in front of the manor's gate, Xavion came to the gate and pretentiously welcomed them.

His son was still missing, but he wore a fake smile on his face as a pretense.

However, his face turned ugly when he saw Charlie and Quinn get out of the car together.

He had only met Charlie once, but Charlie had left a deep impression on him.

He had suffered from Charlie's arrogance on the night his son had gone missing, and it was Xavion's first time feeling so humiliated. Worst of all, he had been humiliated by such a young man as Charlie.

He held a grudge and constantly remembered it, so naturally, he was very upset to see Charlie.

He frowned and questioned Charlie, "I only invited Miss Golding. Why are you here? Do you think you’re worthy enough to be a guest at the manor of the Fox family with that lowly status of yours?"

"Huh!" Charlie chuckled and said scornfully, "You're so rude. Why? You don't welcome me?"

Xavion coldly warned, “That goes without saying! Of course you’re not welcomed here! You should get out and not be an eyesore."

Quinn did not expect Xavion to verbally attack Charlie, and she stepped forward and sneered, "Mr. Wade is a good friend of mine. I asked him to accompany me, but if the Fox family is so unwelcoming, we'll leave at once!"

Xavion warned her angrily, "Miss Golding, don't you want your concert to go on as scheduled?!"

"It doesn’t matter," Quinn said with a look of disdain, "Nothing is more important than Mr. Wade. Even if all my concerts are canceled, it doesn't matter."

Then, she turned to Charlie and said firmly, “Charlie, let’s go!"
