Charlie's question sent Jarvis panicking slightly. He could barely hide his nervousness.
"Mr. Wade, please don't be angry... If this isn't enough, I'll knock out a few of his
teeth right now! I-if that isn’t enough... I'll break his leg! I'll make it up for you!"
Charlie waved his hand faintly and said," No need. He accidentally offended me in the afternoon, and I've made him kneel until now. I'm sure he has learnt from his mistakes."
Hearing that, Cason hurriedly knelt on the floor and earnestly repented, "Mr. Wade, I’ve learnt from my mistakes! Please, pardon me..."
Charlie nodded, indifferent. "Fine. I won’t continue to hold you at fault."
Cason was thrilled. He immediately bowed again and again and said gratefully, "Thank you, Mr. Wade! Thank you for your kindness! Thank you!"
Charlie said, "You don't have to thank me so quickly. I won't continue to be angry, but I won't help you restore your power. This is the price to pay for your mistakes.”
Cason's excited face immediately turned ashen.
He wept a little, bitter, and begged, "Mr. Wade, I've been practicing martial arts from a young age. It took me decades to reach my humble achievements today... If you can't restore my power, I might as well die...!"
Jarvis, who was beside Cason, also bowed and pleaded, "Mr. Wade, Cason may be short-tempered, but he’s a loyal person. He's been working hard for so many years. I hope you can forgive him for his small mistakes and give him a chance to make a change."
