"It's fine. Don't worry about it," Dorothy said. "Master Wade has helped us so much. We’re the ones who troubled him."
Then, Dorothy deliberately added, "We must’ve caused a lot of trouble for making Master Wade drop by New York frequently to help with our Feng Shui issues. We're so sorry to disturb your time together. I hope you don't mind, Mrs. Wade."
Claire, however, didn't understand the implication behind Dorothy's words. "It's alright, Miss Chan. This is my husband's job. It's all within his responsibility.”
Dorothy smiled and nodded softly. She had a lot of meaningful things she wished to tell Claire, but she knew she shouldn't go overboard in Charlie's presence. Therefore, she stopped before she spoke too much.
She said with a smile, "Master Wade, Mrs. Wade. Please come with me. I'll take you to the VIP room."
Charlie noticed what Dorothy was trying to do, but as she knew when to stop, he let her behavior slide. He only said indifferently," Thank you, Miss Chan."
"You're welcome.” Dorothy took Charlie and Claire from the VIP lane to the top floor via elevator.
The hall venue was large and spacious. The VIP room was situated high up on the seventh and eighth floors. The top floors were all dedicated to the VIP area.
Everything here, including the entrances, exits, and facilities, was separated from the hall audiences' access to ensure a high level of privacy for the VIP guests.
Only two VIP rooms would be in use for Quinn's concert tonight. The VIP rooms were reserved for Charlie, Claire, and Keith's family. The other rooms were not available. Therefore, very few staff members were assigned to this floor. However, there were several security guards at the entrance and exit. Entering the place, one would find it empty with zero staff.
Quinn made this special arrangement to ensure the highest privacy for Charlie and the Acker family. Charlie loved keeping a low profile, whereas the Acker family was a very well-known family. With less staff around, there would be less exposure.
