The Man In Rage novel Chapter 1021

Ye Yu-Yan lived up to her name as Lu Tian-He's principal disciple. Her military boxing was flawing.

She nearly crippled Lin Fan.

The man's howls of pain could be heard across the whole barracks.

He was sent to the military hospital that afternoon.

Lin Qing-He was shocked when he heard that his son had been severely injured. He skipped a military meeting and drove straight to the hospital to see his son.

When he returned to the barracks that evening, Lin Qing-He issued orders for Ye Yu-Yan's arrest immediately.

She was arrested on charges of assault and was going to be court martialed.

The young woman was furious, but there was nothing she could do.

Lin Qing-He called the shots in the military and she was but a young woman and a nobody. With a snap of his fingers, he could get her dealt with.

Lin Qing-He wasn't bothered by Lu Tian-He at all.

The general was miles away. No matter how influential he might be in Yanjing, he had no say in what happened in Jiangdong.

Besides, Lin Qing-He had ordered his men to take away Ye Yu-Yan's handphone. She had no way of contacting anyone.

She couldn't call Lu Tian-He for help even if she wanted to.

The princess of the Ye family had been cast into a dark and cold prison cell.

Everything had happened too quickly.

Ye Yu-Yan couldn't accept what had just happened to her.

Ye Fan, who had already returned to the old Chu family home, had no idea what had happened to her.

"Did you miss me, Miss Yu?" teased Ye Fan when he returned to the old family home and saw Yu Yun return from practicing her swordsmanship.

"Shut your stupid trap!" Yu Yun glared angrily at him. She would have cleaved him in half with her sword if she didn't need him for her evening training. Her voice was frosty when she spoke next. "Get your ass into the kitchen and whip up something for me if you still want to practice Dragon God Body with me."

Ye Fan smiled wryly when he heard that. This young woman was treating him like her personal chef.

Ye Fan didn't try to pick a fight with her. He would have offered to help out in the kitchen even if she hadn't mentioned a word.

Old Madam Chu was cooking inside.

Ye Fan exchanged some pleasantries with the old lady before he recalled the Revitalization Bath she had brewed in the past.

The bathwater had healing and rejuvenating properties. It would improve the results of one's martial arts training.

If he wanted to train and build the Green Dragon Force within a short span of time, he was going to need some of that Revitalization Bathwater.

"What? You want to soak those children in the Revitalization Bath?" Old Madam Chu shook her head furiously when she heard Ye Fan's request. "No way. That won't do. You'll kill them. The bathwater is incredibly potent. Only people like you and Yun, who are practicing Dragon God Body, can survive a soak in those waters and absorb its medicinal properties. Ordinary folks won't be able to withstand it, not even after I've diluted the water to one-hundredth of its original potency. They'll suffer an overdose and die. Besides, this is a family secret. I can't let you take it and bring it into the military barracks."

The old lady refused Ye Fan's request flatly.

Ye Fan had expected her refusal though, and wouldn't give up on persuading the old lady. "Great grandmother, I'm not asking for the complete prescription. You could modify the original and write one that's suitable for their consumption.”

The old lady nodded. "That's not a bad idea. I didn't expect you to be so invested in this. I was expecting you to mess things up!"

Ye Fan smiled. "I'm a man of my word. I've made a promise and I'm going to do my best to keep it. Besides, I'll have my own use for a powerful Green Dragon Force in the future."

Ye Fan wasn't lying. His current efforts were partially fueled by personal interest as well.

He was the founder of the Green Dragon Force. A powerful and independent unit that was wielded by the Chinese military as one of its strongest military units was only going to be boon to Ye Fan.
