Get on your knees and address me respectfully as your commander and instructor. Swear your undying loyalty and obedience to me and that you'll forget your beloved Instructor Chu. Do that and I'll spare your lives."

Chen Lan's words were filled with ferocity.

A cold wind suddenly began to howl.

Leaves stirred on the ground while branches rustled uneasily.

Chen Lan's icy tone sent tremors rippling through everyone's bodies.

He expected these young soldiers to be cowed by his display of authority and submit to his will.
