Even though Brahma had managed to stop himself from moving any further backwards, the arm holding his sword was numb. The sword in in his hand was still trembling.
"This young punk is really strong. He's actually even stronger than the last time we fought." Brahma stood there without any expression on his face. He had regained his usual composure and authoritativeness.
But nobody knew what sort of tsunami was raging within his heart despite the calm exterior he showed.
He never thought that this Chinese young man would be unaffected by the previous fight, and actually become even more powerful than before.
"Damn it! How did he do that? Where on earth does this punk even come from?" Brahma frowned deeply as he became more and more wary of Ye Fan. He felt that this young man was simply logic defying.
Brahma had actually only seen Ye Fan twice in his entire life.
But these two meetings were enough for Brahma to realize that everything about this young man seemed to go against everything he understood about this world.
This boy had such a resolute personality, a potential way beyond his peers, and secret techniques that were impossible to fathom.
This young man was both incredible and creepy at the same time.
"No, I must not let this boy live. Otherwise, he will definitely create more trouble for me in the future." Ye Fan's nature defying abilities made Brahma want to kill him even more than before.
But after the exchange earlier, Brahma knew that he wouldn't be able to kill off Ye Fan by himself within a short time.
He turned and glared rather unhappily at Gaia, who seemed to be just standing to one side in a daze.
"Gaia, are you going to just stand there and watch? Don't you want those things? Hurry up and attack!" yelled Brahma angrily.
He was furious that Gaia looked like he was hoping to reap the reward for this fight without putting in any effort.
But Gaia didn't seem to have heard any of Brahma's angry yelling.
He stood where he was, as immovable as a mountain!
"Shit! Is he deaf?!" Brahma was even angrier now.
But Brahma was instantly rooted to the spot when he watched how the energy levels within Gaia were slowly but surely rising.
"Wait, no. His energy levels are rising, and he's gathering all the natural energy from around him as well. Is this fellow accumulating all this for a major move?" Brahma immediately started smiling. "This old fellow is finally going to stop holding it in. He's finally going to unleash his best
move."
Brahma smiled widely and his mood lifted.
He had fought several battles with Gaia and knew that Gaia possessed an extremely powerful martial arts technique that he hadn't displayed yet.
Brahma had been attacked by that technique before.
Even though he had been at his peak, this powerful move from Gaia made him run for his life.
That was how incredible this secret technique was.
But the more powerful the technique, the more energy it needed, and the more time it required to prepare. And because of that, Gaia seldom unleashed this particular move.
When he was being hunted down by Yu Yun, Gaia thought of using this ultimate move he had.
But Yu Yun was too strong for him, so there was no time for Gaia to prepare himself to unleash the move at all.
Gaia had no choice but to be chased and beaten down by Yu Yun without any chance of fighting back.
But this fight with Ye Fan was different. Brahma had helped to stall for time when he fought Ye Fan, and that gave Gaia enough time to gather his energy.
The energies from the natural surroundings were also sucked in by Gaia, as if they had been commanded to do so, filling Gaia up with a tremendous amount of energy.
Gaia's presence seemed to soar into the sky.
The pressure he emanated was like a mountain that weighed a ton and was as deep as an abyss.
