Zane spoke condescendingly, "You know our families are in a cooperative relationship. But now, Mr. Pelham, you've been easily swayed by Jessica, and without considering the consequences, you've aggressively attacked my girlfriend.

Steven's anger grew as he listened. "Are you saying all this just to make me go easy on Annalise?"
