“How did he get infected again?” Joanna’s heart skipped a beat. 

Without any doubt, she was certain that Aria had done it. After all, Aria had done it before. Darcy frowned and said solemnly, “Well… we’re not so sure either.” 

“Where is he now?” 

“He’s in Mortland Town now. Miss Bridges is trying to find a way to detoxify Mr. Everett.” 

Joanna rushed to the parking lot and urged, “Take me there quickly.”

Joanna was burning with anxiety along the way, and her heart was a mess. She knew that Aria would not let go so easily.

Carson parked the car in front of an old house.

Leo and Aria were already waiting at the door. Upon seeing her, Aria greeted Joanna with a formal and unfamiliar tone, “Ms. Haynes, you’re here.” 

Joanna replied equally coldly, “Miss Bridges, long time no see. 

“Where is Bruce?” 

Aria’s gaze was wandering, and her voice carried a hint of loneliness. “Bruce is in the room.” 

Joanna glanced at her. A hint of disgust and hatred lashed across her eyes. 

“It seemed that she wanted to forcefully separate me from Bruce again. This shameless woman was really evil,” thought Joanna. 

However, she could not fall out with Aria now. She had already experienced Aria’s methods and ruthlessness. 

“Ms. Haynes, please follow me!” 

Joanna followed Aria into the house. 

After entering the house, Aria brought Joanna to a bedroom.

Joanna quickened her pace and entered the room excitedly. “Bruce…”
