“Mrs. Haynes, what do you think of Joanna’s relationship with Mr. Grimm?”

Ingrid took the water from her and shot Roxanne a disappointed look. “You’re letting us down, Roxy. You’ve been Mr. Everett’s fiancee for years, and you still are! We don’t know if you’ll be able to marry into the Everett family. Why can’t you just learn from me?”

Roxanne was so upset that her eyebrows were knitted.

She wanted to marry Bruce as soon as possible.
