At Riverview Villa.
The family of Bruce was eating around the dining table.
Davian asked gloomily, "Daddy, Mommy, when are we going back to Sherane Bay Villa?
"We really want to go back and ride horses. Are we going to live here forever from now on?"
Joanna nodded. "Yes, we'll stay here for the time being. We might move back in the future."
"Oh, okay!"
"Hurry up and eat!" Joanna called the children to eat while looking at Bruce. "Have you applied the solution? Remember to apply it on time later, in case your skin gets infected and worsens."
"Yes, yes," Bruce replied absent-mindedly.
"Swoosh!" A text message sounded.
Bruce put down the fork and picked up his phone to take a look. It was from Aria.
Looking at the message, Bruce gradually frowned, and his chewing slowed down.
"This Aria could always... cause me a headache. She was always silently sulking and tackling even the greatest challenges alone, while I always had to clean up the mess and save her ass," said he inwardly.
He was really annoyed.
Joanna subconsciously asked, "What are you looking at?"
"Nothing, it's from the company!" Bruce said and deleted the message.
"She could do whatever she wanted!
"It's none of my business," said he inwardly.
Joanna kept staring at Bruce. "What's wrong? You don't look right!"
"It's okay. I'm full. Take your time." Bruce stood up and walked toward the courtyard with his phone as he spoke.
"Buzz, buzz, buzz!"
Aria was about to board the plane when she saw Bruce calling. She could not help but feel excited and quickly answered, "Hello, Bruce!"
Bruce suppressed his anger and asked in a low voice, "Aria, are you on the plane now?"
"Oh, I'm about to board the plane soon."
"Can you stop? You know it's dangerous. Do you think you can handle it alone with the team?"
When Aria heard this, she still stubbornly said, "Don't worry! I can handle it..."
Bruce could no longer suppress his temper but scolded, "I won't stop you if you want to die. Have you ever considered other colleagues?
"Do you want to get them killed too?"
Aria's eyes flickered, and she did not say anything.
"You're leading at least seven or eight people this time. So many of our men died last time. What if we lose them again this time? They're all my subordinates. Before you make a decision, why did you go past me and look for Richard directly?" asked Bruce.
"Bruce... I didn't want to cause trouble for you, so I reported directly to Richard!"
"What you're doing right now is totally out of line and goes against the rules of the organization!"
Hearing Bruce's angry voice, Aria sounded even more aggrieved. "Bruce, I really don't have any other intentions. I just..."
