The Return Of His Unrivaled Ex-Wife (Joanna) novel Chapter 732

Chapter 732

Bruce smiled calmly. “Yes. I’ve arranged everything.”

“It’s at Riverview Villa. The environment is quiet, and it’s also far from the city.”

Aria smiled at him. “Thank you for going through all the trouble to arrange everything for us.”

“Don’t mention it.”

After talking about the stay, the car fell silent again.

Aria adjusted her glasses and secretly sized up Bruce from the corner of her eye.

His facial features had not changed much from when he was on campus, but he was no longer immature. He had become more mature and calm.

His figure had also become taller and more muscular. He had grown from a youth to a man.

Bruce sensed that Aria was sizing him up and subconsciously rolled up his sleeves, pretending to look at his watch. At the same time, he leaned his body slightly toward the car window and tried his best to avoid eye contact with her.

He did not want to give her the illusion that he was being ambiguous and cause her to misunderstand.

The car drove steadily.

The atmosphere in the car was especially awkward.

Bruce’s reaction was cold, which disappointed Aria. She initially thought Bruce would be as excited and happy to see her as

she was.

But in the end….

An hour had passed.

The car drove into a manor halfway up the mountain.

That was another mansion that belonged to the Everett family. It was a mountain villa manor. The area inside was vast, the greenery was beautiful up there.

and

However, it was in the suburbs, far from the city. Therefore, Bruce was only used to accommodate guests and never lived here.

The car stopped on the lawn of the manor.

“Aria, we have arrived!”

“You can take a look at the place.”

The security guard at the door had already eagerly opened the car door.

Bruce got out of the car first and opened the door for Aria gentlemanly.

Aria got out of the car elegantly.

A faint smile on her exquisite and elegant face made her look beautiful.

“I’ve already arranged accommodation. These are the butler and maids of Riverview Villa. If you have any needs, you can ask for their help.”

A middle-aged man who looked like a butler stood on the lawn with a row of maids behind him..

“Mr. Everett.”

After Bruce helped Aria take her luggage off the car, he looked at the time. It was already past six o’clock. He had to hurry back to the hospital.

Joanna would let her imagination run wild again if he went back too late.

Seeing that he had no plans for tonight, the disappointment on Aria’s face was obvious. “Bruce, are you leaving just like

that?”

Bruce heard this and subconsciously stopped.

“I thought you’d have a lot to say to me.”

Bruce frowned. He wanted to say something but hesitated.

“Bruce, I came to Greyport this time because I have an important mission. You should know that!”

Bruce’s heart skipped a beat as he looked straight into her eyes. “Yes.”

“So, now I need you to help me with this mission.”

Bruce listened and pondered for a few seconds. “What mission is it?”

Aria paused for a moment. “Let’s go inside first. It’s not convenient to talk about it here.”

“Okay!”

Bruce personally helped her carry her luggage and led the way.

Aria followed behind him gloomily.

They entered the house.

Bruce ordered the maids to leave.

“Now, can you tell me what mission that requires you to carry out?”

Aria looked at Bruce meaningfully. “Then I’ll make it short. My colleague and I have developed a new generation of RA-3 Bio-virus in Antlen.

“This virus sample will become the most powerful biochemical weapon in the future. Now, scientists from the Melta and Antlen have secretly studied the virus sample.

“However, our staff has already secretly extracted the side sample and stored it in a secret base in Antlen.

“Now, I want to take it back to our country and hand it over to the scientists in the country for research. But as you know, all the research results of biologists are not allowed to be taken out of the borders.”

Bruce frowned when he heard this.

That was a difficult task.

If he failed, he would probably be hunted down by secret agents from all over the world.

Seeing Bruce’s troubled expression, Aria let out a long sigh. “Bruce, I know this operation is very dangerous. If it fails, it will attract a fatal disaster.

“Other than you, I can’t find anyone else to help me bring the virus sample back to the country. This virus sample concerns the interests of the country. We can’t let scientists from other countries develop biological weapons first.”

When Bruce heard this, his frown deepened.

He did not want to interfere in such matters.

Especially since he and Joanna had finally come this far, he didn’t want to ruin their happy life.

“Bruce…” Aria looked at him expectantly.

“As long as we can bring the virus sample back to our country, our country will be able to stand firm internationally in the field of biochemical weapons.

“The honor and benefits of the country are above everything, above our own lives. We have to be prepared to sacrifice. ourselves at any time for our country.”

When Bruce heard this, he closed his eyes.

The

gap between him and Aria was still so difficult to bridge.

Aria was too noble. She valued honor more than her life.

He had never admired anyone, let alone felt inferior in front of anyone.

However, in front of Aria, he felt exceptionally small and inferior.

“Alright, I’ll help you think of a way.”

“Yes! Please, I believe you can do it,” As Aria spoke, her eyes shimmered in tears.

She looked at him with a complicated gaze.
