The Return Of His Unrivaled Ex-Wife (Joanna) novel Chapter 734

Chapter 734

Joanna didn’t say anything. Although she was angry, she wasn’t too unreasonable.

After all, he did not make any substantial mistakes.

“Alright, alright, stop crying!” Bruce leaned forward and kissed her eyes dotingly. He made a face at her as if he was coaxing a child.

Seeing this, Joanna couldn’t help but laugh. She was both angry and amused.

She wasn’t the kind of person who laughed at jokes easily, but when she saw him making faces, she couldn’t help but want to laugh.

When men and women quarreled, the most taboo thing was to laugh. No matter how bad the fight was, as long as one party laughed, he or she would immediately become the loser and be controlled by the other party.

Bruce knew Joanna’s weakness. Every time she was angry, he would make her laugh. It worked every time.

Joanna wiped away the tears from the corner of her reddened eyes with the back of her hand and stopped crying. She did not continue to be angry at him.

It wasn’t easy for the two of them to get to where they were today. They had to give each other more trust and tolerance.-

Seeing her smile, Bruce ruffled her hair and quickly took out the cake he bought.

“Here, your favorite mille crepe cake. I went to Skyluxe to buy it.”

“I can’t eat so many desserts during postpartum recovery. I’ll get fat.”

“It’s okay. I don’t mind a few pounds. You’re even thinner than you were before, so you have to eat more.” As Bruce spoke, he cut the cake and brought it to her mouth.

Joanna opened her mouth and ate the cake.

The sweet and smooth cake filled her mouth, making her feel much better.

“Is it good?” Bruce looked at her lovingly as she ate the cake bite by bite.

“It’s delicious!”

“Then eat more.”

“By the

way, have you

decided on the child’s name? Should we call him Jaime or Devin?” Joanna looked at Bruce hesitantly,

Bruce pondered for a few seconds and said, “I think it’s better to call him Devin.”

“Jaime sounds like the word Je t’aime. It’s not suitable for a name.

Joanna agreed. “I think so too.”

“Then it’s decided. His name will be Devin Haynes.”

“As for his nickname… Didn’t Davian give Devin a nickname? Was it Dara?”

“Uh… Dara sounds like a pet’s name!”

“It doesn’t matter. It’s fine as long as the children like it. Anyway, Devin’s a brat. His siblings can call him whatever they

want.”

Joanna was speechless.

He made it sound like she gave birth to Devin just so the children would have a pet.

“Fine!”

“I can’t eat anymore. I’m sick of it.”

Bruce put down the cake and complained that Devin was a brat, but he could not hide the joy on his face.

“I’ll go take a look at Devin!”

“Sure!”

After coaxing Joanna, Bruce went to the neonatal intensive care unit hurriedly.

Devin was laying in the incubator. He was really tiny and was sleeping soundly.

Bruce’s newborn was connected to Bruce by blood.

Bruce stood guard outside the incubator. His eyes were filled with fatherly love, and he couldn’t get enough of it.

He really wanted to hug his son and cherish him.

Unfortunately, Devin was too weak to be held for now and could only stay in the incubator.

The next day was Saturday.

Davian, Irvin, and Lilia followed Gael to the hospital to visit Joanna and the newborn baby.

Creak.

The ward door was pushed open.

Davian and Irvin walked in.

Behind them, the servant came in carrying Lilia in her arms.

“Mommy, we’re here to see you.”

When she saw her children, Joanna smiled and said gently, “Davian, Irvin, Lilia, you’re here!”

“Mommy, we heard that you had a baby, so we specially asked Mr. Gael to bring us here to see you.”

“Where’s the little girl?” Irvin’s big eyes rolled around as he searched the ward.

“Oh, it’s not a little girl. It’s a little boy.”

The three little children looked adorable. “Where is he?”

“In the neonatal intensive care unit.”

“Can you bring us there? We can’t wait to see what the baby looks like!”

Bruce chuckled. “Of course. Let’s go. Daddy will show you.”

“Okay.”

Soon, Bruce took the children to the neonatal intensive care unit.

The three children widened their eyes and looked curiously and pleasantly at Devin who was moving around in the incubator.

“Daddy, is this our little brother?” Davian looked up at him and asked cutely.

“That’s right!”

Irvin’s expression was filled with disdain. “Ew, why is he so ugly? He’s not cute at all.”

Lilia said in an adult-like tone; “Babies look like this when they are born. They will look better when they grow up.”

“Isn’t that right, Daddy?”

Bruce kissed his precious daughter’s cheek lovingly. “Of course.

“Hehe, I think our little brother is quite cute.”

“Daddy, can we hold him?”

“Not yet. Your little brother was just born. He needs to stay in the incubator for a while.”

“Oh, alright then!”

“We’re done seeing our little brother. Come on, let’s go see Mommy.”

“Okay.”

Bruce carried Lilia and returned to the ward with the children.

As soon as they returned to the ward, the children chattered excitedly.

Bruce took out a few wedding proposals and handed them to Joanna with a smile. “Honey, take a look at these.”

“What’s this?”

“This is the wedding plan from all major wedding companies.”

“After you rest for a month, we’ll go through the remarriage procedures. After that, we’ll have our wedding and our child’s 100-day celebration together.”

Joanna casually flipped through the proposals. “Oh, you can look at them yourself.”

“I still want you to choose!”

Joanna smiled gently. “I don’t mind. We’re already an old married couple. I don’t mind what kind of wedding we have.”

“That won’t do. When we got married for the first time, the wedding wasn’t very nice. We have to hold a nice wedding this

Bruce spoke excitedly and began to flip through the wedding proposal.

When he and Joanna got married for the first time, there was a misunderstanding between him and Joanna. He thought that Joanna pulled some dirty tricks to separate him and Roxanne, so he was sullen the entire wedding.

After the wedding, he even humiliated Joanna.

Now, he just wanted to make it up to her.

“Okay, I’ll listen to you. Just make the arrangements.” Joanna honestly didn’t mind what kind of wedding she had.

In any case, since Bruce said that he would hold it, he should make the arrangements.

The children were especially excited. “A traditional wedding like this looks especially festive.”

“Modern weddings are more romantic.”
