Joanna remained silent.

Bruce pondered for a few seconds, then took out his phone from his pocket. “I’ll call her right now and explain everything. I’ll ask her to move to a hotel.” 

He was about to make a call. 

Seeing this, Joanna frowned and grabbed his hand. “Bruce, don’t. Let’s not involve others in our relationship.” 

He pursed his lips, looking at her with despair. “Then tell me, what kind of security do you want? I’m willing to give up my life for you. I can give you everything I have, so why do you still feel insecure? Do I have to give you my life, and die in front of you, for you to believe that I love you?”

“Yes! Initially, I wanted to wait until you were past the postpartum period. We could then proceed with the remarriage and even have a grand wedding ceremony.
