Chapter 827
Davian was not yet eight, but he was so tall he could reach the height of Bruce’s chest.
He was already a big child. It seemed awkward to kiss, hug, and lift him now.
“Alright, alright, alright. I’ll treat everyone equally.”
“Come, come, come. Daddy will carry you,” Bruce said as he put Devin down.
He stretched out his arms towards Davian, ready to lift him.
“Ew… It’s so gross.” Davian dodged Bruce with a look of disgust.
“Come to me,” Bruce said as he bent down to kiss his son again.
“Uh…” Davian’s face darkened.
Bruce smiled awkwardly and braced himself to continue, “Let me hug my eldest son.”
“No. Forget it. You should carry Irvin.”
“Alright! Come to Daddy. Let me hug you, Irvin.”
“Ahh. I’m not used to this…” Irvin was happy to be lifted by his daddy.
Bruce carried Irvin.
His love for his children was the same. He loved his two sons very much.
However, these two boys were already old enough. The way Bruce expressed his love to them was different.
In addition, they had not grown up around Bruce, so he wasn’t used to being physically close to his son.
“Come and kiss Daddy.” Bruce pouted.
Unfortunately, he still couldn’t kiss his son’s face.
He was his biological son.
He was also a big boy!
Bruce did not have a habit of kissing people of the same gender. Devin was still young, so it was not awkward to kiss him.
“Alright, scram!” Bruce could not bring himself to say anything else. He reluctantly put down Irvin again.
Davian and Irvin giggled. “Haha, Daddy is so gross.”
“That’s right. It’s too gross. We can’t take it. We don’t want it.” The two little guys giggled. They still couldn’t stand their daddy’s kisses and hugs.
Bruce and his sons were laughing and bickering in front of Joanna’s bed.
Bruce genuinely enjoyed bickering with his two little guys.
“Daddy, when are you going to take us riding? It’s been long since you’ve taken us horseriding!”
“When Mommy feels better, I will take you guys to ride horses.”
“When I wasn’t around, did you guys practice what I taught you?”
“Yes, but I’m a little rusty.”
“Don’t find excuses. You are probably being lazy…”
“When did we get lazy? We’re… very active!” The two brats refused to admit that they were lazy.
Bruce was bickering with the children.
Beep, beep, beep.
Joanna’s phone rang.
The servant handed her the phone. “Madam, your phone is ringing. Do you need to answer it?”
“Oh, bring it over, please.”
“Here
you go.” The servant handed the phone over respectfully.
Joanna raised her right hand and reluctantly took the phone.
The call was from Jaydon.
Joanna glanced at the phone number. Her expression changed, and she immediately muted it.
Bruce was the ultimate jealous man. He hated it when Joanna was in contact with Jaydon.
It was best not to answer Jaydon’s call at that moment.
She had lent so much money to Jaydon. If Bruce knew, all hell would break loose, and everything would come crashing down.
Seeing that Joanna did not pick up the phone, Bruce’s face turned green. He asked resentfully, “Who called? Why didn’t you pick up?”
“… Ugh!” Joanna looked guilty. She wanted to say something but hesitated. She was thinking about whether or not to tell
him.
This damn bastard was vile.
