The Return Of His Unrivaled Ex-Wife (Joanna) novel Chapter 841

Chapter 841

The materials were all ready-made.

Preparing the filling and kneading the dough were both accomplished at a swift pace.

After Joanna mixed the chicken filling well, she proceeded to cut the shrimp, mushrooms, and cilantro stems. Subsequently, she added an egg and various seasonings.

Seeing that Joanna was adding things one by one, Bruce approached her curiously. “Honey, what are these things?

“Will it taste strange with so many spices?”

Bruce kept a mild diet. Whenever the chef cooked for him, they always tried to maintain the original taste of the ingredients.

Now that he saw Joanna add so many seasonings, he could not help but start to be picky.

“This is seasoning!” answered Joanna.

“Why did you add so much?” Bruce looked disgusted. “Tut-tut! Will it not affect one’s health by adding so much seasoning?”

When Joanna heard this, her eyes widened. “Move aside. Don’t get in the way here.”

“This damn guy was really annoying.

“The foods that displease him are strictly prohibited from appearing on the dinner table. Therefore, the entire family had to cater to his taste.

“Now, I had finally cooked a meal for the children, and this guy had come to tell me what to do.

“He really deserved a beating,” said Joanna inwardly.

“You can choose not to eat it. I didn’t prepare it for you. Besides, what’s the big deal if the children eat it once in a while?”

Bruce smiled awkwardly. “I was just asking!”

Joanna rolled her eyes at him and mixed the filling.

She started making dumplings.

Bruce watched from the side, eager to give it a try.

“How d

that?”

Joanna demonstrated as she spoke. “Here, put some stuffing on the dumpling wrapper first. Roll it up and fold it, then squeeze it the other way. Look, it’s in the shape of a crescent. That’ll do.”

Bruce look.

at with disdain. “That’s it? It’s so simple.”

As he spoke, he used the fork to poke a large lump of filling and placed it on the dumpling wrapper.

“That’s too much stuffing. A little less. What are you doing? Making a pizza?”.

“It’s thin-skinned with generous fillings. Everyone likes it.”

“Oh my, the stuffing is out.” Bruce was flustered, and the meat fillings fell to the ground.

The dumpling wrapper in his hands seemed to be intentionally going against him. Each pinch resulted in it sticking to his fingers, causing the dumpling to burst.

The stuffing was all over his hands.

Seeing this, Joanna was left speechless.

“How is it possible for a man to be so clumsy?

“Those who saw it would be driven crazy,” said she inwardly.

“Uh, go away! Don’t be a hindrance.”

When Bruce heard this, he looked defiant. “It must be because the dumpling wrapper is too soft.

“I can’t wrap it up at all…

“Oh my, it fell.”

Alump of stuffing was squeezed out from the middle of the dumpling wrapper.

Coincidentally, it fell at the zipper of his pants. Being a clean freak, Bruce quickly swept it with his hand.

“Clang!” His elbow knocked the basin to the ground.

Flour spilled all over the place.

Joanna was left utterly dumbfounded and speechless.

“Fuck!” Bruce cursed angrily and bent down to pick up the basin.

He was too tall and didn’t notice the pot on the stove behind him. He knocked it over again.

Half a pot of hot water was splashed everywhere.

Joanna felt her heart began to ache.

Seeing this, Bruce was completely dumbfounded.

How was he here to help?

He was clearly here to demolish the kitchen.

The servants who were peeping at the kitchen door hurriedly came in to clean up.

“Tut-tut!

“I knew that Mr. Everett wouldn’t be able to do it,” they thought.

“Honey, I didn’t do it on purpose. It’s all because of this damn dumpling wrapper.”

Joanna took a deep breath. “That’s right, that’s right. The wrapper isn’t good. You can go out now.” Joanna pushed his back, wanting him to go out quickly.

“Honey, do you despise me?”

“No!”

“Then, why did you chase me out?” Bruce asked gloomily.

He was clearly so outstanding and smart. He learned everything very quickly.

But… he knew nothing about cooking.

“I’m not taking no for an answer today. I’m pretty smart. I can’t possibly fail to learn how to make dumplings.”

“Ugh. Fine! Go on.”

Bruce sullenly took another dumpling wrapper.

This time, he imitated Joanna and carefully made one dumpling.

Although it did not succeed, it was much better than before.

“Honey, look, am I good?”

Joanna glanced at it. His dumplings looked like dog poop. Joanna bit her lip and didn’t have the heart to criticize him. “Um, that’s more like it.

“However, you have to squeeze it a little tighter. Otherwise, it’ll fall apart when you cook it.”

“Mommy, do you think our dumpling is better than Daddy’s?” Davian and Irvin were very smart. They caught on quickly.

Needless to say, the dumplings they made were quite on point.

After taking a look at their dumplings, Joanna couldn’t help but praise, “Baby, you’re awesome.”

Soon.

“The water’s boiling. Time to drop in the dumplings!”

The dumpling that the father and sons had made was the first to be cooked.

There was no suspense.

Bruce’s dumplings all fell apart, and when boiled, they turned into a pot of soup.

“Oh no, why these dumplings are all falling apart!” said Bruce

“I told you to squeeze it a little tighter.

“Let’s eat the filling soup today!” replied Joanna.

“Mommy’s the best.”

“Here, one bowl for each of you. Don’t waste it.” Joanna scooped a bowl of dumplings for each of them with an angry expression.

Davian and Irvin carefully tasted it and revealed surprised expressions. “Well, it’s actually not bad.”

“These are all made by you. You have to finish them.
