The Return Of His Unrivaled Ex-Wife (Joanna) novel Chapter 935

Chapter 935

After the call, Jaydon returned to the ward.

“Have you finished your call?” Joanna asked with concern.

Jaydon didn’t say anything, but his expression was a little sullen.

Seeing this, Joanna became even more worried. “Jay, what’s wrong? Why do you look so pale?”

“It’s nothing. Don’t worry about me.” Jaydon smiled at Joanna.

“Is it about the lawsuit again?”

“Joann, have a good rest. I gotta go back to Venturas tomorrow.”

“Okay. Go about your business. Don’t worry about me. If you need any help, just let me know.

“Do you still have enough money? If not, I’ll transfer some more to you.” Joanna looked at Jaydon sincerely.

Other than trying her best to help him solve his money problem, she had no other way to help him.

Jaydon smiled. “No need. I have enough money. I’ll come and see you after I’m done.”

“…Alright. Let me know if you need anything.”

Jaydon nodded and left the ward with a smile.

Looking at Jaydon’s lonely back, Joanna could not help but feel uncomfortable.

“From the look on Jay’s face, I know he must be in big trouble again.

“I’m really concerned that he won’t be able to defeat Cassius.” Joanna looked worried.

Cassius had been working hard in Grimm Group for many years and had already gotten all kinds of connections. It was normal that Jaydon would lose to him.

Bruce didn’t say anything and looked like he was deep in thought.

No matter what, Jaydon had helped him a lot. Although Bruce kept making sarcastic remarks, he was already thinking about how to help Jaydon.

However, before the matter was done, Bruce did not like to tell everyone

about it and was always very calm.

After the matter was settled, the feeling of catching everyone off guard and shocking everyone was the best.

Joanna looked at Bruce with a heavy heart. “Honey, what will you do if this kind of thing happens to you?”

Bruce said teasingly, “Haha. If it was me, I wouldn’t let this happen at all.

“Even if it happens to me, I will let the other party regret being born into this world.”

Bruce was kind of a jerk.

It would be nice if he didn’t scheme against others. If others dared to scheme against him, they were simply courting death.

Joanna looked at him speechlessly.

Bruce smiled dotingly. “Don’t worry! We’ll cross the bridge when the time comes. Even if the sky falls, I’ll hold it up for you.”

“But I’m still worried about Jay…”

“Don’t worry. He won’t die.” Bruce gave her an awkward smile.

As they were talking, someone knocked on the door.

Bang, bang, bang.

“Come in.” The door opened.

Gael and Miranda walked in with Davian and Irvin.

“Mr. and Mrs. Everett.”

Davian and Irvin smiled and rushed in like two wild horses. “Mommy.”

Seeing this, Joanna immediately sat up from the bed. “Davian, Irvin, why are you here?”

Davian had already pounced on the bed. “We know that Mommy is hospitalized, so we beg Mr. Gael to bring us to the hospital.”

Gael said kindly, “Mr. Everett, Mrs. Everett. They were too worried about Mrs. Everett.

“They kept crying and begging to come to the hospital. They even sneaked out of Sherane Bay Villa a few times.

“I had no choice but to bring them to the hospital for a visit.”

When Bruce heard this, he frowned. Although he was a little upset, he did not say anything.

Joanna, on the other hand, was extremely excited. Her eyes were sore and wet. “Sweethearts, I missed you guys so much.”

“Mommy, we were so worried about you. Are you feeling better?”

“I’m much better now. You don’t have to worry.”

“Oh! We miss you so much, Mommy.” The two little fellows also started crying. One after the other, they threw themselves into Joanna’s arms and wept.

Joanna hugged her two kids on both sides, crying and laughing.

“Thank God, you’re finally back, Mommy. If you don’t come back soon, we’ll go crazy.”

“Silly, I miss you guys too.” Joanna hugged the two kids tightly and could not help but kiss them again and again.

They were her children! No matter when or where she would always miss them.

Irvin raised his handsome little face. “Mommy, what illness do you have?”

Davian was speechless. “Dummy, Mommy got into a car accident.”

“Oh, I just remembered.” Irvin smiled in embarrassment.

Irvin kind of took after Joanna, and his facial features looked more exquisite.

On the other hand, Davian looked more masculine. He was simply a mini version of Bruce and his face and figure were just like Bruce’s

“Have you been good while I wasn’t around? Did you guys do your. homework?”

Irvin’s nose twitched. “Please, it’s summer vacation now! Of course… we

have to relax.

“But we’ve done our homework.”

Joanna smiled. She didn’t want to put too much pressure on the children. “Well, that’s great.

“Where’s ‘Devin? Is Devin doing well now?”

“Oh, Devin is still the same. He eats and sleeps every day. And besides that, all he does is cry.”

“That’s right. Devin cried all the time. He keeps crying every single day. and it’s so annoying,” Irvin casually complained.

“As big brothers, you have to love and protect your younger brother. You
