As Heatherway turned her head, she saw him shirtless, with water droplets still on his honey-colored skin, even his muscles looked perfect.

Wayne didn't expect someone else in the room, he frowned.

He went straight to the walk-in closet, changed into casual clothes, and came back out.

"Who let you in?"

"You forgot your phone." Heatherway hesitated for a moment, "Secretary Tesdal just called..."

"When? You didn't answer it, did you?"

Wayne quickly walked over and grabbed his phone back.

"I accidentally picked it up, but she seemed to have dialed the wrong number, so she hung up right after connecting," Heatherway replied. "Don't worry, it's not like I'm gonna eat her alive or something."

Wayne didn't say anything and called back.

A cold robotic voice came from the other side: "The number you have dialed is turned off, please call again later."

"A person as cautious as she was wouldn't make a wrong call." Wayne checked the time and called the hotel.

After asking about Rosalynn, he found out that she had checked out and gone to the airport.

"She's on a flight back to H City soon. I'll go pick her up." Wayne grabbed a jacket, "You can make decisions about the engagement on your own."

Wayne was sure that if Rosalynn had called him, she must have something to say.

Did she regret what she said? Anyway, Wayne knew he couldn't wait to see Rosalynn. He also wanted to be the first person she saw upon arriving in H City.
