Fane lifted his head and looked at the peak of the mountain in the distance. He hovered only a meter or two off from the ground and flew forward.
Roar!
In the depths of the forest, a frightening roar of a beast tore through the atmosphere. Fane knew that there were plenty of powerful monsters here, but he was not that afraid because his martial level was pretty high.
However, those monsters would be trouble for some contestants from third-class families who were still at grandmaster levels.
Fane's martial level was high, and he was not slow, so he quickly spotted a black plaque after a while. He flew over and picked it up and kept it in his martial ring.
"There’s still one month left. No need to hurry. The fighting will grow fiercer toward the end!"
Fane thought to himself as he flew. There were many people searching for plaques upfront. This way, they would have many plaques at the critical moment, and some would attempt to take the plaques by force. There would be plenty of cases where people were killed for their plaques.
The contestants from the same family might even band together toward the end. Then, fights would frequently erupt between two families.
"The people from the Woods family are not weak, but they're not very strong either. I need to find them quickly. After all, there are plenty of people out to get us in this competition!"
Fane quickly frowned and started to worry for the other contestants from the Woods family.
