The Soldier's Unsurpassable Honor novel Chapter 1328

"Alright, you can come in now!" Changed into her new dress, Helena took a moment to recollect herself before calling out to Fane.

Fane entered the cave with a dead rabbit in his hands before he threw it aside.

"Why did you bring a rabbit in?" Helena immediately asked when she saw the tiny monster beast's body on the ground.

Fane smiled. "Since we have time, let’s roast it as food later!"

He then exited the cave in search of some dried wood. He then ignited it and started roasting the rabbit after taking off its skin.

Sitting next to Fane, Helena took her time before softly asking, "Did you see anything

just now?"

"Ahem, ahem! I didn't see anything. Didn’t you cover yourself with your clothes?" mumbled Fane as he coughed, embarrassed. "Although you're hurt, that monster beast isn't a high-level one, and you should’ve been able to handle it."

Helena rolled her eyes at him and said, " The tiger hid at the dark spot over there, and I didn’t notice that there was a monster beast in here. I was surprised when it jumped forward. Also, do you think I should fight without wearing clothes?"

Only then did Fane realize what had happened as he sheepishly said, "You're right. This is the first time I've come to such a place. I’ve forgotten that there are many monster beasts here, and I should've checked the cave before letting you in." "Hmph," scoffed Helena, "lad you know this." A moment later, she then said, "By the way, you cannot tell my sisters about what happened just now."
