"They killed so many at once and put them so obviously for all to see. Isn't that just to make sure that warriors from third-grade worlds see it to inspire fire and cause us to produce even more Heartblood?!"
Saying that, the green-robed man's face soured. He gritted his teeth, and there was hate in his eyes. "Those dogs… They should all go to hell!"
As time passed, the inner region's battles grew even more intense. The number of deaths rose rapidly, and the warriors from second-grade worlds used even more ruthless methods.
Many warriors from third-grade worlds had died. Just thinking about that made the eight of them furious.
Unfortunately, even with the eight of them together, they were unable to get revenge. If they were not careful, they might even die.
Dagda sighed. "Let's go in a bit and leave this place."
Dagda was the strongest among the eight of them, followed by Airn. Thus, the two of them made all the decisions. Dagda decided to leave, and among the other seven, four of them silently agreed. The other three, however, seemed not too pleased with the decision.
One of them said, "I feel like we don't have to be in such a hurry. I know it's very dangerous inside, but we're only on the outskirts. We aren't really going that deep. Even though it's dangerous here as well, the danger level isn't as high.
"The inner region's deepest parts are the true hell. I know that this place will slowly become incredibly dangerous too, but it's still safe now. We'll have to leave eventually, but it's probably not right now. We've been here for a week, but we haven't even gotten fifteen golden keys on average.
"Even if we'll get some good things, I still feel a bit reluctant to leave right now. It's a bit of a pity. Even if this place is dangerous, there are a lot of opportunities here too. If we stay for a bit more, we'll be able to get more keys. Why don't you think about it again, Dagda?"
When he finished saying that, the other two nodded in agreement. In the end, they were not very happy with the number of golden keys they earned. They would only reap more rewards if they had more keys.
They had taken such a huge risk, and had fought so many battles and experienced so much, but they were just going to bring a little over ten keys back. They were a bit reluctant to accept that. The others who agreed with Dagda were not very happy as well, but they were more worried about the dangers they might meet if they remained there.
If they encountered anything they could not handle, there would be nothing they could do about it.
Dagda sighed. "I know what you're all thinking, but I've made my decision after much deliberation.
"We can't stay here anymore. Those dogs will just get more vicious.
"Don't forget how much Heartblood is needed to open the Radiant Hall. Tons and tons need to be poured into it. They should've gathered quite a bit already, but it's still far from enough. If the circumstances permitted it, they'd even kill their own. For the Radiant Hall, they've thrown everything else aside, focusing on doing everything they can to obtain the Heartblood. It's just too dangerous to stay here."
The three of them exchanged looks of helplessness. After thinking about it, they nodded.
Dagda was right. No matter what happened, the warriors from second-grade worlds would probably not give up on opening the Radiant Hall.
It was said that the Radiant Hall had treasures that could even strengthen a person from their very roots. Those treasures were incredibly valuable.
