When that was said, they suddenly heard a few explosions. Fane and Rudy immediately looked toward the source of the explosions. The three beasts had already started fighting with the eight warriors, and energy waves of various colors could be seen.
Even if it was a distance away, Fane could tell that those eight warriors were no match for the three beasts. After all, those three beasts were not weak. Their natural born techniques were at the middle ultimate god rank. If the three beasts were warriors then, they would stand at the top of the hierarchy.
The eight warriors might not be weak, but they were still not at the level of those three beasts. Thankfully, they had numbers so they started with an equal playing field. However, that would not last long and would soon be quickly destroyed.
Rudy frowned and said anxiously, "What's wrong with the situation? Fane, my brain is full right now. Just tell me. I can't figure it out."
Fane nodded, "Heartblood can only be collected when a person is alive. Once they die, it would be of no value no matter how much is collected. So, they have to keep those warriors alive if they want Heartblood.
“Those beasts aren't warriors from second-grade worlds. The beast has a natural animosity toward humans. The moment the beasts attack, they attack to kill their foes. If they kill the humans, they would also get blood beads. I already said it, those warriors want to collect Heartblood, they aren't just looking to kill."
Rudy understood it immediately. If they were aiming for Heartblood, then they would need to guarantee that the group of eight was not killed by the beasts. However, there was no way those there would be able to accomplish that.
That was why Fane said there was something wrong with the situation and did not attack immediately. Rudy said seriously, "So, you think people are lying in wait here?"
Fane took a deep breath, "Yes! It's no longer just a suspicion. I'm already sure of it. The two who were leading the beasts earlier had been constantly communicating to exchange their locations, but they should have been communicating with the other warriors from second-grade worlds as well."
Fane paused as he narrowed his eyes and continued, "This is such a huge plot, but it's only targeting those eight warriors. Even if they kill all eight of those warriors and gather all the Heartblood, there are still some things I can't figure out…"
Rudy widened his eyes, "I think it's very worth it! Fane, just think about it. The eight of them have quite a lot of golden keys. When the eight of them die, not only would you get the Heartblood, but the golden keys as well.
"The three beasts aren't cheap either! After killing the eight warriors, I doubt they'll let those beasts off!"
Fane turned around in surprise. He nodded slightly, "You're right! You hit it right on the head. The eight of them are definitely the goal, but the three beasts are as well. After killing the three beasts, not only would they get rewards, the beasts have cores that can also be sold at high prices. It's definitely worth it!"
Rudy nodded. Fane narrowed his eyes and looked around, "Let's not go over. We should look for the ones that are hiding first!"
Bang!
The fox swiped on the ground, sending up a dust cloud. Thankfully, Dagda had been quick to dodge, or it would have been his blood instead of dust!
