Case was pleased by how nervous people were around him, and it filled him with pride. The weak only knew how to fear the strong, and he was feared because he was strong.
Case looked at Fane with a proud expression.
Feeling Case's gaze, Fane's lips twitched helplessly.
This man had no self-awareness at all. Everyone remembered him not because he was strong but because he was annoying. None of the warriors from the Swelling Tide Continent had any real honor.
They were just like a beehive. The moment one of them was provoked, the whole swarm would attack. People did not want the trouble and would naturally keep their distance, yet Case believed he was revered. Fane just felt like Case was a joke.
Case even laughed at Fane, saying that there was something wrong with Fane's head, but it seemed like the case was, in fact, vice versa. Fane could not be bothered to entertain Case, and he continued watching forward.
Case was infuriated by Fane's expression. He had just composed himself, yet that nuisance managed to get on his nerves again!
He made up his mind to make sure to show off in front of Fane. He needed him to know how much better he was. He scoffed and quickly walked forward, going to register his name.
Everyone around looked like they had been blown away by a strong wind as Case walked over. Everyone who was standing in the middle immediately made way for Case.
Case walked in like a king, feeling like he was royalty, and he walked toward the registration area.
Fane's lips twitched in exasperation, musing to himself how foolish Case was.
