The Supreme God of Martial Arts novel Chapter 1884

The four masters at the Heavenly Grotto Realm stood stock still as they looked up at the black-scaled camel. Their jaws were dropped and their hands were hanging loosely at their sides. This beast was advanced, even for them, so they slowly and carefully used their bodily movement skills to try and escape in one piece; antagonizing the camel would be a grave mistake.

Howl!

Panicked, they began to fly faster through the air. The black-scaled camel thought that it could catch them and leaped into the air, swinging its two fists. After a couple unsuccessful minutes, the camel realized it couldn't hurt the four masters and huffed loudly through its nose. Its eyes narrowed as it landed back on the ground again.

It raised its head and opened its mouth, letting out a long roar. Immediately, the four masters stopped and looked back at it. The black light surrounding it became lighter and the camel grew even larger.

Staring at the ground and concentrating harder, the camel forced dark purple blood mist to gush from every pore in its body. The mist settled on it as a layer of purple armor. The camel glowed brighter before it soared into the sky.

"Oh no! This is awful! The beast has cultivated a secret method that can make it more ferocious by burning the blood essence. It has increased its fighting power again,"

exclaimed the middle-aged man in a silver robe. He couldn't take his eyes off of the camel as it landed back on the ground with a horrendous thump.

The four masters looked at the camel and then into the distance behind them. It would be easy to run but the black-scaled camel was too dangerous and powerful and it would catch them before they could make it very far. They had no choice but to stay and try to fight even though they were trembling with fear.

"I think we should try our luck and hide," one of the other masters suggested.

A few meters away, hidden behind a tree, Austin gasped and ducked. He had spent so long looking out at the masters and the black-scaled camel that the camel may have noticed his presence. He looked at Iris with fear in his eyes and lifted his finger to shush her.

Without hesitation, he pulled Isis into the void again.

He sighed in relief. They were safe for now, even from the masters who had already seen Austin and Isis. They were too consumed with fighting the camel to worry about the two of them.

Besides, the power of Austin and Isis was only at the Minor-perfection Realm. In the eyes of these masters at the Heavenly Grotto Realm, they were meaningless and they couldn't win a fight against them if they tried.

Swoosh!

The four masters gave up trying to hide or fight and began running. The black-scaled camel let out an angry cry and jumped into the air like a rocket. Its huge body fanned out so that the sky above them was covered in darkness.

Bang!

The men screamed as the camel jabbed a fist towards them. Rumbling spread through the air as it approached one of the masters.

Puff!

Blood dotted the ground like red paint being flung from a paintbrush. One of the Heavenly Grotto Realm masters cried out in agony when half of his body was shattered into pieces under the fist. When the camel lifted his fist, the man forced his legs to stand and kept running. Blood poured down but if he stayed in one place, he would be trampled to death.

Howl!

Without stopping for even a moment, the camel flew into the air again and instantly caught up with the middle-aged man wearing the silver robe.

"Fuck off!"

Despite the middle-aged man trembling like an earthquake, he stopped running and turned, holding his ground. He pulled out a large saber and wielded it at the camel, causing it to stop its attack.

Bang!

However, the black-scaled camel had raised its hoof and slapped the man with it. All the cutting light from the saber was extinguished, and the middle-aged man was swept away. He landed several yards away and coughed blood into his hand.

It didn't take long for the camel to recollect and go after Elder Cowell of the Unworldly Sect and the master with bright runes. They were so terrified from what they had seen that they could barely fight back and were quickly injured.

All the four masters at the Heavenly Grotto Realm were taken down within minutes and were thinking it was over.

Approaching them slowly, the black-scaled camel glowed with black light. It spread the light around the sky, covering them and making it difficult to see. It felt like a demon god had come and the world was ending.

The four masters cowered beneath the camel. They didn't have enough energy to fight so they mustered up their bodily movement skills to try and run away again.

They were so busy trying to escape that they didn't notice the camel had also been injured in the battle. It shook with anger and madness. Letting the men run away would be humiliating, so it rushed after them like a speeding train.

Exhausted, the four masters looked at each other and decided to run in the same direction. This would limit the chance of them being caught and dying alone.

The chase lasted until they moved beyond the horizon. All the way, the masters tried to fight back.

The energy waves that erupted from the battle made the earth and sky shake violently. A strong wind formed which made the bloody dust where they had stood swirl, blotting out the sky and the sun.

Not long after the black-scaled camel and the four masters had left, two figures hopped out of the void and crossed open space. They stopped walking when they had reached the entrance of the cliff.

Austin nudged Isis and she smiled.

The cave was unprotected and they were the only ones in the vicinity.

Looking at the entrance, Austin felt his heart hammering against his ribcage.
