A sea of cheers rang out through the Immortal End World.
Colorful lights were lit in celebration all around.
Austin instructed Kevin, Zenith, and the soldier to discuss among themselves the matter of allegiance between their world and that of the masters from the Evil Abyss World.
He had no care for such affairs.
The demonic avatar ordered the evil masters to work together in order to hasten the progress of the cooperation treaty.
And while they could not comprehend the reason as to why they had to stoop so low as to be of assistance to beings much weaker than them, they had no choice. Devil Ancestor Thanos himself had gave the order.
A selected few who were considered as confidants to Devil Ancestor Thanos secretly asked why they had to ally themselves with the Immortal End World.
To which a vague answer was given to them, "Austin is a young man with unlimited prospects. That's all you need to know."
Austin flushed with embarrassment at his own reply. He was rather shameless about complimenting himself like that.
Devil Ancestor Thanos, however, was not amused by the persistent questions.
So the evil creatures tempered their curiosity and dared not ask anymore.
After the arrangements were made, Austin led his demonic avatar to the Graystone City and entered the cave inside the pot.
Waiting inside the cave were Faran, Corey, and four holy trees.
As soon as they saw Austin, the supreme holy tree spoke, "For so many days, we've been feeling the aura of our other brothers.
Now there is a great hope that one or more holy trees will resurface soon."
"What?" Austin queried. "Is that really so? You can sense other holy trees, without even knowing their exact location?"
While a pleasant surprise, he also found it quite a baffling concept.
"We," the holy yellow tree explained, "the twelve holy trees, have once been refined into one.
Hence, we have a very keen sense of each other."
"I see," Austin nodded, remembering a time in the past, when they were outside of the Ancient Forbidden Land.
The supreme holy tree had sensed the holy yellow tree within the space of the jade slip in his Omnipotent Pot.
The twelve trees did have a very acute perception of each other.
The supreme holy tree took over again.
"Brat, you need to send your men to explore the universe as soon as you are able to. If you find anything unusual, we will rush over right away.
So many years have passed. It's about time we twelve brothers finally get together again."
"I understand,"
Austin replied.
"You don't have to run around all day, brat," Faran said, a hint of dissatisfaction in his eyes.
"You should stay more. You can practice the law power and try to finish the nine times of cocooning process as early as possible."
This was his hope for Austin, so that the boy could open a space channel to the original universe he came from and send him back.
"Don't be so hard on him," Corey chimed in. "Bear in mind that haste makes waste.
Just let nature take its course with his cultivation."
"Are you implying that I have been putting pressure on him?" Faran was indignant.
"He has been outside all this time! If this goes on, it will certainly delay his cultivation."
Austin shook his head with a little bitter smile. As Faran and Corey kept arguing, he slipped into the time chamber.
Inside, Austin released Dennis' spiritual soul and ordered the latter to impart all the swordsmanship wisdom and skills that he had practiced.
At first, Dennis refused. Stubbornly, he went as far as to threaten Austin to release him at once, else the leader of the Yaksha Palace would bring his army and flatten the Immortal End World.
Austin responded by repeatedly attacking his spiritual soul with the Supreme Spiritual Pot, and he even released the spiritual tree to absorb half of Dennis' spiritual soul energy.
Dennis finally caved under the pain of impending death, and dutifully answered his questions.
It turned out that the sword skill in question was called the Principal Golden Immortal Swordsmanship.
Dennis had accidentally obtained this skill in a mysterious ancient place located somewhere on the edge of the universe.
He had not been a sect ancestor at that time.
Only after making great progress in swordsmanship, and thus becoming a sect ancestor, did he become famous in the universe.
After knowing about the Principal Golden Immortal Swordsmanship, Austin proceeded to ask Dennis about his personal insights into his own swordsmanship.
Inside this chamber, time was irrelevant.
Austin was free to carefully study the Principal Golden Immortal Swordsmanship and dig deep into Dennis's insights to further understand this swordsmanship.
A few years passed, in which time Austin managed to thoroughly master the Principal Golden Immortal Swordsmanship, and gained a lot more by taking Dennis's thoughts and experiences as reference.
