On the seventh floor of the pagoda,
Austin pushed past the door and walked in.
Another wide square greeted his eyes.
It didn't surprise Austin much when he realized that the square was a battlefield.
However, there was no way that the real space of the seventh floor was truly like this.
While he was busy examining his surroundings, a man appeared out of thin air.
"You're finally here, challenger," he said, looking down on Austin indifferently.
Although the man looked like a scholar, he held a long sword in his hand and his eyes would occasionally gleam with sword light.
Unlike the woman Austin met on the six floor, the man had no tail.
Although he looked every inch a human being, Austin could tell that the man was not from the human race.
However, even with his powerful spiritual sense, he still couldn't see through the man's real form.
"What? Why are you so young?
I can't believe that you made it all the way here.
How... how the hell did you do it?
This is unprecedented."
The man studied Austin with surprise written all over his face.
"But it's impossible to cheat in this pagoda, so it means that you really are powerful.
I can't wait to see what you've got,"
the man declared, his gaze landing heavily on Austin.
"Ha-ha! Please rest assured. I won't let you down,"
Austin replied, evenly meeting the man's gaze.
"Well then, Okay."
With that, the man raised his long sword.
"All right. Let's get started.
As you should know, the rules of the seventh floor are the same as the sixth floor.
No matter how many times we die here,
we'll just come back to life.
There's nothing to worry about. All you have to do is to show me your best.
That's it. Take this!" the man said to Austin.
Without another word, he waved his sword.
A beam of sword radiance in the shape of an antelope's horn rushed towards Austin, shining brightly with the brilliant law of reincarnation.
This move was as fast as lightning and was equally fatal.
Before Austin could react,
his body was already torn into pieces!
'Seriously? I got killed in a single move again.
Looks like every move of the Reincarnation Sword Skill really is more powerful than the previous one.
Even I couldn't survive the blows.
If this man went to the Sea of Chaos, he could definitely take out a large number of governing gods.'
Chills ran down Austin's spine the moment that thought entered his mind.
In the next moment,
Austin came back to life and appeared in the square.
"I need some time to digest the move you just displayed,"
Austin declared.
"I understand. Take your time.
I'll wait for you.
I have a lot of time anyway,"
the man responded while he flashed Austin a faint smile.
With his prior experience on the sixth floor, Austin already got rid of all his nervousness and confusion in the face of defeat.
Instead, he calmly sat on the floor and began to recall the sword move he just saw—the seventh move of the Reincarnation Sword Skill.
Time passed slowly while he was immersed in his thoughts.
Five days passed,
he eventually had some ideas about the new move.
Once he confirmed it with himself, his eyes snapped open and he rose to his feet.
"One more time,"
Austin calmly requested.
Thus, the two sides started their fight once again.
Whoosh!
This time, Austin did not die before he even noticed it. When the sword-light the man released slammed into him, he was forced several steps backward before he thoroughly exploded.
Despite dying in one attack, he still did better than the last time he confronted the man.
'No way!
It seems like my understanding of this move is still too superficial,'
Austin mused to himself.
Once again, he called for a truce and began to work on deciphering the seventh move again.
When he was sure of his new realization, he got up once again and started another round with the man.
