Austin knitted his eyebrows.
"Then, do you know where Humphrey went?
Or, perhaps you have an idea to which area he was headed?"
Austin asked.
"Forgive us sir, we really don't know. Besides, it's impossible that he would tell us.
However, we do know the direction he was going in when left the Sea of Chaos,"
one of the creatures replied, trying his best to be helpful.
"Great! Then tell me, which way? Which direction?"
A glimmer of hope flashed through Austin's eyes.
"He went that way."
That creature pointed to a certain spot in the distance.
At the same time, the law of time and space flew out of his hand and expanded.
The creature who was now helping Austin was in fact, a divine god. He had a certain cultivation base in terms of the time and space law.
Otherwise, it would be impossible to point out a clear direction in the chaotic void
as the inner workings of time and space were extremely complicated.
"I see."
Austin nodded to the creature and looked at the same direction.
'In other words, a precious egg of the chaotic sky-devouring beast
is somewhere out of the Sea of Chaos and locating it starts from this direction.
This egg may be the very reason why Humphrey left the Sea of Chaos this time,'
Austin thought to himself. He was almost certain of his conclusion.
'Oh, right!
I remember, that's probably also the place where Humphrey acquired the body of the chaotic sky-devouring beast!
Way back in the past, when Humphrey first appeared in the Sea of Chaos, he didn't have this body.
After a certain period of cultivation in seclusion, he came to have an extraordinary body of the chaotic sky-devouring beast. He was eager to show it around when he came back,'
Austin suddenly thought of this. How could he almost forget?
'I guess a chaotic sky-devouring beast left two eggs there,
and one of them has been taken by Humphrey.
Now, he wants to deal with the other one!'
"I'm pretty certain that, that is the case!"
With such a realization, Austin couldn't help but exclaim in a muffled voice.
'Humphrey needs only one of the chaotic sky-devouring beast's bodies to enable him with such powerful strength.
If by any chance he is able to get an extra one, the situation would be much more terrifying!'
Austin frowned at the thought.
'Okay fine.
For now, I will have to try and follow his tracks and see if I can find that place.
If I do find it, then I could stop him and get the other egg myself!'
Austin came up with this idea.
Had this happened in the past, he wouldn't have had the ability to know where Humphrey was headed to.
Now, the situation was different. Austin's cultivation base, relative to the law of reincarnation, was much higher than before.
He was confident that if he went the same way as Humphrey when he left the Sea of Chaos, he could pin-point Humphrey's exact whereabouts.
'Okay! That's it!'
Austin made up his mind.
Given his abilities, wherever he went, he had no need to fear anybody or anything.
"Well, I think we're done here. You can all leave now."
Austin waved the dozens of creatures away.
"If you want, you can also go back to the underworld.
Master Stanford has entrusted you with all the skills he had cultivated. When you get back, you'd better work hard to cultivate and try to improve your strength. If you could do that as soon as possible, that would be great!
In the future, we will need to work together to rebuild the road of reincarnation,"
Austin said to the nine governing gods of the underworld.
"Don't worry, we understand. And yes we will work on our cultivation immediately,"
The nine governing gods bowed to Austin respectfully, and then turned around to leave.
Austin had no reason to stay so he set off and returned to the Fallen Divine Valley.
