The black human-shaped creature moved at break-neck speeds, flying across the sky and coming before Austin in a flash.

A white spear formed of ice and snow then appeared in the creature's hand and was sent darting towards Austin.

Austin frowned and his eyes flashed with a spark of intensity when he sensed the energy pressure coming from the creature. He knew it was time to fight now.

The Fire Bead inside his body burst out, spurting sacred fires all around.

Austin pointed his finger, and at his command, the sacred fires condensed into one wall of fire after another.

They burned fiercely, emitting an astonishing energy. The chilly energy around was pushed back. The fire scorched a large area around him.

The eight sacred fires were incredibly powerful. Even the nine leaders of the Time Chamber Sect were afraid of them.

Boom!

The long spear from the black human-shaped creature's hand collided with the fire walls with a deafening boom.

The creature seemed angry, as well as a little shocked, to be faced with so many powerful walls of fire.

He had thought the puny human in front of him was just a governing god, so he did not take him too seriously. He had not expected him to possess such an amazing fighting capacity.

The creature was almost overflowing with fighting spirit now. He waved his long spear around and around, over and over again, smashing it into the fire walls without rest.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh...

All of a sudden, numerous rays of spear radiance launched out and turned into white lights, swirling around Austin and surrounding him.

The creature's spear skill was undoubtedly brilliant. Austin felt illusory spears appearing one after another in every direction he looked, every one of them pointed at him and charging.

"Come on!" Austin yelled, his courage firing him up.

He took out a blade with his left hand and a sword with his right, using both blade skills and sword techniques at the same time, and releasing blinding blade and sword radiance to block the illusory spears.

His blade and sword skill had reached a truly astounding level and so his strikes were a formidable defense.

They were able to hold off the spears for a moment.

"This can't be. You, a human boy, and a mere governing god, cannot compete with me!"

growled the black human-shaped creature ferociously.

He then suddenly changed his spear skill. He raised it forward and the white, cold freezing energy burst forth in an instant. The spear morphed into a massive white dragon and rushed ahead.

The move was a pure use of energy.

He had gathered all he could into the spear and used it to send out the dragon.

As it pounced on him, Austin felt as though the space in this area was about to be destroyed and turn to nothing.

He felt his body and spiritual soul were in great danger. If the white dragon got a hit on him, he would most likely die here!

At this critical moment, Austin stretched out his hand and pointed into the air above, and a tremendous amount of sacred fires gushed out from the Fire Bead.

Austin had stored a lot of sacred fires in it, enough for him use now as he needed.

The sacred fires transformed into many fire walls, densely packed together, overlapping and sweeping towards the white dragon.

Boom!

The white dragon was unfazed, breaking through one wall after another and making its way straight through.

However, there were too many walls for it to keep up its ferocity and it consumed a lot of energy. It soon began slowing down.

Before long, it returned to the form of a spear.

The move was countered and Austin's crisis was averted.

The black human-shaped creature was in disbelief.

He had gone all out, using all his energy in that attack. He could not understand how it was still unable to harm the human boy in front of him.

Austin on the other hand, was overjoyed. The power of the eight sacred fires had actually allowed him to contend with the black human-shaped creature with the strength of a god of chaos.

He also found that he seemed to have made great progress in his fire-controlling skill.
