The Supreme God of Martial Arts novel Chapter 5024

Cayden, the younger brother, was the furthest behind and so the ice wolves had caught up to him first, attacking wildly.

Only a few hundred wolves had managed to reach him so far. But once they started their attack, they would fight to death with utter disregard for any life, even their own.

Cayden's temper was short and having so many wolves pounce at once had sent him into a fury. He turned around fast and faced them all head-on.

He was much more powerful than these wolves. None of them on their own were a match for him. He gripped a long spear tightly and waved it around swiftly. The overwhelming amount of spear shadows stirred up ice and snow all across the sky, creating a terrible weapon against his foes.

Before long, he'd stabbed through several heads and killed numerous ice wolves.

He continued his fight back with the long spear in hand, vanquishing one wolf after another.

With only a few maneuvers, he'd killed more than two hundred of them. He seemed to have the upper hand, before the other wolves caught up and swarmed on him. They approached him slowly, about to completely surround him and drown him beneath their attacks.

"Cayden, do not fight them. Run!"

Anakin cried out anxiously to his younger brother.

"Now is not the right time for that.

Don't act impulsively!

Cool your aggression. It doesn't matter how powerful you are, you can't defeat so many of them.

Get out of there right now!

Before it's too late!"

Anakin bellowed his warnings again.

"Are you out of your mind? Are you trying to get yourself killed? Why would you provoke those mad creatures?

Run before you're destroyed!"

yelled the water source beast, adding his voice to the cries.

More than a thousand ice wolves then arrived, packed densely around Cayden and surrounding him.

In fact, with his strength, defeating them wouldn't be too difficult. But there were still a ton more rolling over towards him like a black ocean of death.

Once they all made it to him, his strength would mean nothing. He'd be doomed.

Cayden began realizing the predicament he was in and the disadvantage he would be at if he fought any longer. He decided not to keep the battle going. He swung his long spear around in a circle, forcing the surrounding wolves back, turned on his heels and rushed away to escape.

The wolves would not let him get away so easily though. One after the other, they charged at him, rabid and crazed.

The spear he carried held a terrible energy and continued killing ice wolves as it willed. Every swipe and stab of the spear killed dozens of the creatures. Hundreds of them had been killed in what seemed an instant.

But it was far from over as more and more ice wolves continued darting over.

They pounced on him, their eyes red and without fear of death.

Only now did Cayden come to see how difficult escape was going to be.

With more and more rushing madly at him, the number of wolves surrounding him had reached around five thousand.

Not to mention the other ten thousand that had gathered nearby.

"Cayden, run!"

Anakin gritted his teeth and rushed back to his brother's aid. He stood in front of him as a shield and began attacking with all his might.

"Let me take care of these ice wolves.

You should get out of here,"

Anakin shouted to his younger brother.

"You don't have to worry about me, big brother. Just run. You're faster than I am.

I'm sorry. This is all my fault. I was too reckless.

Allow me to stop them. Take Austin and save Braden!" Cayden replied sincerely.

He had finally realized the dire situation he was in. He could not help but smile bitterly, knowing what faced him.

He regretted his carelessness in turning back to challenge the wolves. If he hadn't done that and simply kept running ahead, he might have gotten far away from them and not have been trapped into this desperate pickle.

"If you two don't get out of there fast, your chance will be gone!"
