The Supreme God of Martial Arts novel Chapter 5040

"Let me at it!"

Cayden stepped forward, his jaw set in determination. With a roar, he unleashed massive energy pressure and launched a series of rapid-fire cultivation methods and martial arts skills at the arrays.

The gods of chaos, however, remained unimpressed.

"Do you really think you can break the arrays with your puny strength?"

they called out mockingly.

They chortled smugly amongst themselves.

They were so certain their arrays would hold.

"See? Didn't I say not to worry?

These cultivators from the outside worlds are no match for us at all!"

"Unlike them, we aren't just all talk.

We're the real deal!"

The sixteen gods of chaos burst out laughing as they continued to watch Cayden struggle with the arrays in vain.

"Who do these outsiders think they are?

They're obviously way in over their heads!"

they hooted.

Anakin grunted in frustration.

"Let's try breaking the arrays together!" he called out to his companions.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

As one, Anakin, Cayden, and the water source beast simultaneously launched attacks strong enough to make the air tremble.

Crash! Boom!

At the force of the attacks, space-time started to ripple, as if it would break asunder at any moment.

But it was futile. The three gave everything they'd got but they didn't make even a dent on the arrays.

The arrays were far too powerful.

There were far too many of them, too.

The sixteen gods of chaos had arranged the arrays together so that they overlapped densely in complex formations.

This was why even the combined efforts of Anakin, Cayden, and the water source beast weren't enough.

The three were starting to get desperate.

They started to get the sinking feeling it was impossible to break through the arrays.

"Austin, it seems we're trapped!

We may get stuck here just like Braden,"

Anakin finally blurted out, abject worry in his voice.

Austin snapped out of his reverie.

"Hm? What was that?"

He hadn't been paying attention to the exertions of his companions all this while. He had been focusing his energies on closely studying the arrays.

"I said even if we all work together, we can't break through.

These arrays are just too strong!"

Anakin said exasperatedly, throwing his hands up.

Austin smiled.

"Not to worry, Anakin.

I think I've figured it out.

Give me a moment.

I can get us out of here,"

Austin told him calmly.

Anakin's brows shot up.

"Really? Are you serious right now?" he asked with a small glimmer of hope in his eyes.

Austin nodded.

"Yes. Trust me.

These arrays aren't as tough as you think."

Austin smirked.

Relief washed over Anakin.

He broke out into a grin.

"I believe you. Do what you must."

At this, the water source beast let out a chuckle, too.

"You have my faith, too, Austin.
