Chapter 215
The doctor gave Sasha a series of careful instructions, displaying great confidence in her.
After treating Jameson’s wound, he left the room contentedly, along with the other
nurses.
Sasha was at a loss for words. She caught Jameson stealing glances and chuckling, prompting her to jab him hard with her elbow.
“Let’s get this straight first, your health has nothing to do with me. I’ve visited you, and now I’m leaving.”
Sasha announced, standing up to go.
Jameson immediately put on a pained expression, speaking weakly, “It’s okay, you can go. My injury has nothing to do with you. I didn’t get hurt trying to save you, so you don’t have to worry about me.”
Sasha halted in her tracks, biting her lip fiercely.
Jameson’s words put her in a difficult spot. If she just walked away, it would seem rather callous.
Although it was Jameson’s own sister who had inflicted the wound, it didn’t change the fact that he had been injured trying to protect her.
Grinding her teeth in frustration and after much internal debate, Sasha finally turned back around, grumpily declaring. “Fine, I’ll see this through! I’ll stay and take care of you for two days, but after that, I’m gone. I won’t stay a minute longer!”
Jameson thought to himself that two days were better than none. He eagerly nodded, a faint smile appearing on his face.
Sasha had never seen such a smile from Jameson before, almost losing herself in it for a moment before she quickly regained her composure.
She set her bag down and headed to the bathroom to fetch a mop and a cloth, intending to clean the room first.
The sight of blood all over the floor was disturbing.
Jameson quickly interjected. “You don’t have to do that. We can have the cleaning staff take care of it.”

“There’s no need.” Sasha stopped Henry, then rolled her eyes to the ceiling.
She could clean it up quickly herself in less than three minutes. It seemed more bothersome to trouble the cleaning staff for such a small task.
Even the janitor earned a fixed wage. There was no need to call them over for every little thing.
Henry hesitated briefly, then watched as Sasha efficiently cleaned the dirty floor before heading to the sink to wash the mop.
He quickly took the cleaning tools from her.
“Let me handle these. Ms. Yundt, why don’t you sit with Mr. Leigh for a while?”
With a discerning eye, Henry took the items away and discreetly asked the bodyguards and attendants to leave, ensuring that Sasha and Jameson were left alone.
Before leaving, he sneakily gestured to Jameson to “go for it.”
Receiving the hint from his friend and subordinate, Jameson nodded subtly.
Once the door was closed, he belatedly felt a bit awkward.
“Um… why don’t you sit down first?”
Sasha, however, had no intention of sitting down. She turned to Jameson and said, “You’re not well. You should get some sleep first.”
Jameson blinked in confusion. “Huh?”,
Without further ado, Sasha walked over, tucked him into bed, and made sure the blankets were snug around him.
She urged him impatiently. “Close your eyes and sleep!”
Jameson was at a loss for words!
He had no choice but to obediently close his eyes.
“You’re not planning to sneak away once I fall asleep, are you?”
Sasha, who was about to fetch a jug of water for Jameson, was confused.

Her expression unchanged, she softly denied. “Of course not, you’re overthinking it.”
Jameson opened his eyes again, looking earnestly at Sasha. “Am I really overthinking it?”
