Claudia stared at her phone, thinking that she had misheard it. Her mind was a blank. She could not believe her ears at all.

"Am I dreaming?" Claudia muttered as she raised the phone back to her ear. "What did you say?" she asked.

"I said, I like you!" Sebastian repeated. "That's right. You didn't hear wrongly."

"How is this possible?" Claudia retorted at once.

Just a while ago, Sebastian was mocking her, acting like there was no way he would ever think of her as something more. Why did he suddenly change his attitude? Claudia wondered.

Claudia's first reaction was to question him. She felt it was just a prank.

"Claudia, I know that you don't believe me. You must be doubting me. So, tell me where you are right now. I'll go to find you and tell you personally," Sebastian said anxiously.

"I'm downstairs. I'm just about to head up. However, what you said makes me feel very helpless. Can you not do this? Can you act normally?" Claudia still did not believe a word Sebastian had said. She felt that if she believed everything he said, she would end up feeling more miserable.

Sebastian had never told her that he liked her, so how could he suddenly fall for her just like that?

It could not be true.

"Okay. I'll be there soon. Wait for me. By the way, tell Cordon to leave."

"Why do you want him to leave? Is there anything you want to say that he can't hear?" Claudia retorted.

"I don't mind confessing my love to you in front of Cordon, but are you sure you want everyone to know about that?"

"Sebastian, what are you doing? Can you please act normally? Stop fooling around." Claudia felt that she could not accept being toyed around by him, so she did not want to get her hopes up. All she wanted was to live a quiet life.

"I see you," Sebastian said as he walked out of the elevator.

From a distance, Sebastian could see Claudia standing there with Cordon right next to her. Cordon's eyes were glued on Claudia, and he never looked away.

Sebastian could only imagine how much Cordon liked Claudia. At that point in time, he could no longer deny that he had been greatly agitated.
