Aurum had no reason to give so much of himself for her.

Shawn did not speak.

What can he say? It was wrong to say anything, and it was better to be silent.

She walked toward the guest bedroom, and her figure disappeared from Shawn's sight.

Shawn walked into the master bedroom sadly.

They were obviously husband and wife, but they had different rooms and beds!

Gale was about to take a shower when the phone rang.

When she saw it, it was Aurum calling.

She picked up.

"Gale, Shawn should have told you about getting the antidote from Natalie's hand," Aurum said.

"Yes."

"You trust me, and you don't worry. I'll be fine. The worst case is that nothing happens. But the best case is to get the antidote," Aurum comforted her.

Gale clenched the phone tightly. "Have you seen Natalie's side effects of the poison?"

"I've seen it."

She bled.

She kept rolling on the ground, banging her head against the wall, scratching her body furiously.
