Twisted Ties of Love novel Chapter 248

Normally when Brett went to work, Stevenson would stay at home and chat with Izabella, spending much more time with her than Brett.

Of course, the jealous Brett couldn't stand it, so he immediately arranged a house for Stevenson not far away and asked him to move.

Izabella couldn't help but laugh, "You just kicked him out like that? Who's gonna give me psychological counseling now?"

"I think you don't need it anymore."

Still so selfish and domineering, Izabella said, "You think? Last week you thought I needed counseling, and now you think I don't. Whose body is it, mine or yours?"

The two almost quarreled over this trivial matter, but in the end, Stevenson persuaded them both and told Izabella that she didn't need psychological counseling for the time being.

During the two weeks he had been at the villa, he had only hypnotized Izabella once, and their meetings were mostly just casual chats to pass the time.

It was not easy for Izabella to make a friend her age with whom she could chat and pass the boring time, but the jealous Brett put an end to it.

Izabella got angry for a whole night and made Brett sleep on the sofa instead of letting him into bed.

Having learned his lesson, Brett didn't dare to say a word against her. He just sat on the sofa without a blanket, staring in Izabella's direction feeling hurt.

He suddenly regretted inviting Stevenson to hypnotize Izabella, if he had known this would happen, he would have called a woman instead.

Izabella and Stevenson had a lot in common and could talk about many things. Sometimes they would chat and completely ignore Brett when he came home from work. Brett, who was already frustrated by not being able to be close to his wife because of the many outsiders at home, now had to deal with this third wheel. His jealousy was overwhelming.

Izabella said she wouldn't care about Brett, but seeing him locked on the sofa for half a night, she finally couldn't bear it. She was really wrapped around his finger.

Izabella found a woolen blanket in the closet and carefully walked up to Brett, putting it on him.

Brett didn't sleep well, his years of caution keeping him alert even when asleep. When he heard a sound, he woke up, but he didn't open his eyes.

It wasn't until Izabella put the blanket on him that he suddenly opened his eyes and grabbed Izabella's hand.

"Honey, can I go back to bed?"

"You haven't slept yet?" Izabella was startled by his sudden move and looked at Brett holding her hand, her face changing. "Let go of my hand."

Brett said, "The sofa is too small, and I can't sleep on it."
