The sudden storm was as swift in its departure as it was in its arrival. After the rain subsided, the electricity in the villa was restored. The thunder still rumbled outside, but the fear was lesser when the lights were on.

As the room's light flickered on, Casey asked, "Did the power just go out?"

"You ran all the way up here and didn't notice?"

Seeing no panic on Izabella's face anymore, Casey exhaled in relief. Noticing that he was both cold and wet, he quickly released her.

"The sheets are wet now. I'll change them."

Izabella glanced at the faint water stain on the quilt. It was not significant, but in such a weather, even a minor cold could be troublesome.

"You go shower. I'll change the sheets."

"But it's still thundering outside."

"I'm not afraid anymore." Izabella got up and pushed Casey into the bathroom. As long as she wasn't alone, she wasn't afraid.

When Casey came out of the bathroom after freshening up, Izabella had already changed the sheets. She was sitting on the bed browsing her phone.

"I have something to show you." Izabella put down her phone when she heard the bathroom door open. Then she opened the drawer of the nightstand and took out a jewelry box. Inside was the jade bracelet Bunny had given her today. It was so precious that Izabella was afraid of damaging it if she wore it, so she took it off as soon as she got home and put it in the jewelry box for safekeeping.

"When did my mother give you this bracelet?"
