It seemed that all her previous speculations were accurate so far.

When Xyla got married, she tried to hide her marriage from her family until it was exposed. So the main reason behind it was because her husband was a huge embarrassment and humiliation.

All those explanations she gave to her father later on were merely lies.

She must have thought that the others could not find out the truth so she decided to make up some lies.

After that, she found a good-looking man, who knew a little bit of Chinese medicine, to act as his husband in order to complete her story.

Did Xyla actually suffer from frequent domestic violence? It was truly a tragedy to be married to such an ugly man and to be abused by him every day.
