The host quickly stepped in to calm the crowd, and the guests began to disperse. However, a portion of the crowd was reluctant to leave, their eyes fixed on Hera. They wanted to approach her but were too intimidated by the bodyguards to make a move.
"Hera, how was my performance just now?" Gino felt smug after his triumph and sought approval from Hera.
Gideon scoffed to himself, "I can practically see you wagging your tail like a dog."
Hera ruffled Gino's hair. "Not bad."
Gino hated it when people messed with his hair. But he didn't dodge this time. Instead, he asked, "Does it feel nice?"
His hair was surprisingly soft.
Hera nodded. "Not bad."
Gino's eyes lit up. "Be my mentor, and I'll let you ruffle my hair every day!"
Hera felt speechless.
"Ms. Raven, now that your family matters are settled, isn’t it time for us to discuss our business?" A woman approached. She was Laura, a representative from Miridian's National Space Administration.
The translator accompanying her was about to translate her words when Hera stood up. She unplugged the USB flash drive and asked, "What do you want?"
She spoke in fluent Terranish.
The translator stopped. Seeing this, Laura addressed her directly, "You illegally hacked into our satellite, USA-224. We need you to come with us."
Bernard stood beside Hera protectively. And challenged her in Terranish, "Why should we listen to you?"
