Bernard clicked an icon on the desktop. "It's an audio restoration app. Did you bring along the recording of the SD card? We can give it a try."

"Since the beginning of the year. I developed an investigation system for Nathan's team last year. It comes with an audio restoration function, but it's just a basic one. So, I developed it based on the original. I finished it just this morning."

He continued, "I didn't want to tell you. I wanted Nathan to tell you after the data was incorporated into their system, but I changed my mind. I've been thinking about how to win your heart back the past two days. I decided to give it to you as a gift instead to them."

She couldn't wait to go home and try restoring the recording on the SD card.

She carried Tiramisu out of the house. "Fine. We can have dinner together, but you'll have to cook."
