Catherine and Priscilla were of a similar age, but Catherine looked better in terms of complexion and figure.
"Speak of the devil."
"I'm sure she's here to buy the herbs."
"This should be interesting to watch."
People began gushing, waiting for the show to unfold.
Disappointment seeped in Everly when she noticed that only Catherine had come. There was no sign of Hera.
Everly welcomed, "Mrs, Jones, you're here. Where's Hera? Is she angry at me?"
Not answering Everly's question, Catherine grabbed her hand. "Everly, did you buy out all the four herbs? Stop this. You're disrupting the market."
Catherine had always wanted to meet Everly, but she couldn't contact her.
Last night, however, Catherine suddenly received a call from Everly. Everly told her about her new clinic and invited Catherine and Hera over.
Catherine didn't inform Hera about it because she had to prepare for Harvey's surgery. She didn't want to distract Hera.
Youngworth Miracle Clinic was closed today, so she decided to come over for a visit. She also wanted to talk to Everly and persuade her to stop disrupting the market as it wouldn't do anyone good.
Everly withdrew her hand. "You're right. I bought them all. Why isn't Hera here? Did she ask you to come alone?" She wondered if Hera had sent Catherine over to dissuade her.
"Herie—"
Priscilla interrupted proudly, "Oh please, Catherine Youngworth. If you're here to ask for herbs, act like it. My family owns all of the reishi mushrooms, turmeric, sea cucumbers, and oyster shells in the whole country. Do you want them?"
