After getting into the car, Hera finally felt better after having the tiramisu cake Bernard had brought for her.
Hera took a shower once they arrived at the house. She was so tired that she couldn't be bothered to blow dry her hair and went to bed immediately.
Meanwhile, Bernard fed Tiramisu before getting rid of its poo. By the time he returned, he noticed Hera had fallen asleep with the towel wrapped around her hair.
He went over and reminded her gently, "Sweetie, you should dry your hair before going to bed. Otherwise, you'll get a headache."
Since Hera did not move, Bernard had no choice but to bring the hairdryer over and help dry her hair.
Although the hair dryer was rather noisy, it did not interrupt Hera's sleep at all. The operation seemed to have taken up a lot of her energy, making Bernard feel sorry for her.
After drying her hair and covering her with the blankets, Bernard kissed Hera on the forehead before getting up to leave.
After sleeping for the entire day, Hera woke up and happened to see Bernard dressed in his pajamas. He lay beside her. His intense gaze was fixed on her while he was propped up on one arm.
Seeing that she was awake, Bernard's deep gaze shifted slightly before remarking, "You're finally awake."
The word "finally" made Hera wonder whether he had been watching her sleeping for a long time. That made him sound like a pervert.
"Why aren't you asleep?" She reached for her phone by the bedside and checked the time. It was 12:00 am.
Bernard bent his head to kiss her forehead. "I'm jet-lagged, so I can't sleep."
Hera reached out to prevent him from coming closer. "Are you not tired at all?"
Bernard hummed in response.
"Then, let's do something meaningful, shall we?" Hera hooked her fingers at the edge of his bathrobe.
Her eyes held a hint of humor, making her look beautiful and seductive. She was like an irresistible enchantress.
