Luna smiled bitterly.
"You believe her?"
"Not really, but..."
Bonnie lowered her head. "She took my phone and dialed my brother's current phone number. I heard it. I t was his voice.
“Aura said that when my brother was sending a shipment for her, he crashed into someone. Because h e was afraid of being punished by the law, he took some money and ran. He is still living comfortably overseas, but he is afraid that someone might trick him into coming back and pay for his crimes, so other than Aura, he would not listen to anyone."
Bonnie said. Her tears fell.
She sobbed, "I really missed my brother. I'm an investigative reporter. All these years, I have tried all ways to find out news about him, because I really couldn’t find him, so I targeted Aura. I started writing bad publicity about Aura. Now that I have heard my brother's voice and I was sure he was alive..."
"So you were willing to sacrifice your freedom in exchange for Aura's?"
Luna looked at Bonnie crying. She sneered, "Idiot."
Bonnie closed her eyes. "You can call me whatever
you want. You only got together with Joshua for the money. You will never know what a real relationship feels like!"
"I don’t know about relationships?" Luna looked at Bonnie and laughed suddenly. "No one’s relationship experience is as heartfelt as the one I experienced. I'll admit. Maybe I don't know much about relationships, but I know that if your brother has you in his heart, you would not need to put out so much effort.
