Will You Marry Me, My Ex-Wife? novel Chapter 525

Alice tried to take her life?

Joshua immediately bounced up from the chair. "How is Alice now?"

The butler’s voice was trembling a little. "She has stopped. When Mary was upstairs cleaning, she heard a loud voice coming from the study, so she immediately pushed the door open to have a look. She saw Mrs. Lynch hanging herself. She has been taken down by the security guard already. She is fine now, but Mrs. Lynch has been crying ever since. She said she would rather just die..."

Joshua frowned hard. "I’ll be back immediately!"

Then, Joshua hung up the phone and stormed off. When he was by the door, he suddenly thought of something. He turned around and swept Luna a glance. "Alice tried to kill herself at home. I have to go back home and attend to her. I have arranged to let you take Neil and Nellie to the amusement park tomorrow, as an early reward on the project. Don't forget about the time."

Then, Joshua hurriedly left.

Luna laid on the bed and looked at Joshua leaving. She smiled bitterly.

As expected, Alice still held a significant amount of importance in Joshua's heart.

Luna sneered.

Alice tried to take her own life? She was perhaps just trying to wipe herself cleanly off the Joseph incident, right?

When Joshua hurriedly returned to Blue Bay Villa, Alice was still sitting on the sofa.

She was surrounded by a bunch of servants.

Alice kept crying, "Just let me die! What use is there for me to live? My dad almost murdered someone because of me! This is all my fault, all my fault! If I was not so jealous of Luna being close to Joshua, or how the kids liked Luna more, my dad would not have done such a thing! My dad almost became a murderer thanks to me!"

After Alice's wails, the servants comforted her.

"Mrs. Lynch, don’t blame yourself too much. Your father loves you very much, he only used the wrong way!"

"Yes, Mrs. Lynch. It was not as if you told him to murder. What does this have to do with you?"
