"Yes, Ms. Luna." Shannon turned around and walked away when she heard Luna's orders.
Fiona, who was standing next to Joshua, scrunched u p her nose in resignation and pouted. Tears were welling up in her eyes as she said, "Ms. Luna...what are you trying to say? Do you think I'm wrongfully accusing Arianna and trying to frame her?"
Fiona's voice was starting to shake. "Okay, if that's what you want to think, then go ahead! Everything is my fault!" She sniffed and wiped her tears away. "It’s all my fault. It’s only my first day of work, and I've already caused so much trouble that you have to check the security cameras in front of everyone..."
"I shouldn't have insisted on coming to work at Lynch Group because I was bored, and I shouldn't have come to the design department and caused you all this trouble. I’m sorry that I made you upset. I shouldn't have gotten scared and spilled the coffee all over Arianna..."
Tears rolled down Fiona's face like strings of pearls as she continued, "It's all my fault. Everything is my fault." The longer she went on, the more unstable her breathing became.
Joshua noticed this and frowned. He immediately grabbed hold of her so that she would not fall.
Fiona took the opportunity and sank right into Joshua’s arms like a ragdoll. However, she was still sobbing. "Joshua, I'm sorry. You should ask Human Resources to fire me now. Don't fire Ms. Luna’s assistants. Otherwise, everyone will think I'm behind this..."
Watching Fiona’s face grow paler and her breathing become more labored, Joshua knew that she was about to collapse at any moment.
He bit down on his lip and lifted his head to glare at Luna. "Do you really have to complicate things and humiliate Fiona like this? She’s my girlfriend. Even if you don't respect her, you still have to respect me. She didn't do anything wrong. Besides, even if she did do something wrong, why do you need to humiliate her i n front of so many people?" Joshua's tone was as steely as his gaze.
Luna stood motionless and felt a little dazed when she heard this.
How long did Joshua know Ms. Blake? Three days?
Luna could not believe that Joshua was talking to her like this, all because of a woman he had known for only three days!
